Cannons are Windrose's primary ship weapon, mounted in each hull's cannon slot. Every cannon comes in three calibers, 12-Pounders, 24-Pounders, and 36-Pounders, with three modification lines, Tempered, Perfectly Ordered, and Devastating, and each modded cannon has a base (Rare) and an Ascended (Epic) tier. How Cannons Work
Every ship mounts the same caliber on its main cannon slot: Ketches field 3 guns at 12 lbs, Brigs 6 guns at 12 lbs (Blackbeard variants can mount 24 lbs), Frigates 12 guns at 24 lbs (Blackbeard variants can mount 36 lbs), with secondary batteries on Frigates at 12 lbs. Heavier calibers hit harder but reduce reload speed and cost more to craft. Pick the highest caliber your target hull supports, then pick the modification that matches your playstyle.
