In-Game Effect

Once crafted, 12-Pounders: Devastating fires Raked broadsides: hitting a target with more than 50% of a volley applies the Raked debuff for 25 seconds, increasing all damage dealt to affected targets by 10%. The debuff stacks up to three times.

The Devastating 24-Pounders and 36-Pounders plans are sold by the same Provisioner at Levels 3 and 4 for 400 and 500 Piastre respectively, so the 12-pound version is most likely to appear at Level 2 for 300 Piastre. Verify in-game before committing reputation resources.

What It Unlocks

Using the plan teaches the crafting recipe for 12-Pounders: Devastating, a Rare cannon. After learning the plan, the recipe appears in the Shipwright's Workshop crafting menu. Ingredients at the Level 1 tier are Copper Ingot x10 and Wooden Plank x5; higher station tiers unlock progressively better material pipelines.
