Lord of Mysteries (诡秘之主) is the Unreal Engine 5 dark fantasy MMORPG by SPARK NEXA, adapting the Cuttlefish That Loves Diving novel. Live in Mainland China since August 21, 2026 on PC, Android, iOS and HarmonyOS.
The Lord of Mysteries roadmap: the milestones that led to the August 21, 2026 Mainland China launch, and the published four-year content programme, season cadence, and Pathway plans that follow it.

There are 22 standard Pathways in Lord of Mysteries, each 10 Sequences deep. Six are playable from the Mainland China launch: Seer, Apprentice, Spectator, Warrior, Bard and Mystery Pryer.

Lord of Mysteries released in Mainland China on August 21, 2026 for PC, Android, iOS and HarmonyOS. Launch-week record, server expansion, the two account systems and what each shares, client distribution, region requirements, and the platforms that have not been announced.

The line that runs from the Seer (占卜家) up to the Fool (愚者), and the protagonist's Pathway in the source material. Ranged damage and control built on thrown cards, marks and divination. One of the six Pathways playable at launch.
Published system requirements for Lord of Mysteries: the launch client's four-tier PC table plus Android and iOS requirements, install sizes, ray tracing and upscaling support, in-game performance settings, Windows troubleshooting, and the earlier closed-test specifications.
Answers to common Lord of Mysteries questions: the August 21, 2026 Mainland China launch, the four supported platforms, the two account systems and what each shares, system requirements and troubleshooting, monetisation and pity rules, Pathways, and closed-test history.
Sequences are the 10-rung ladder from Sequence 9 (entry) to Sequence 0 (god-tier) on every Pathway. Lower numbers are higher power. Only Sequence 9 is confirmed reachable in the launch build's documented opening schedule.
The second closed beta of Lord of Mysteries (灰雾测试), a limited paid wipe test that ran from June 26 to July 5, 2026 on PC, Android, and iOS. It was the game's first cross-platform test and the last before the August 2026 launch.
SPARK NEXA (弹指宇宙) is the Kuaishou-owned studio that developed and publishes Lord of Mysteries, founded in September 2021 by Xu Jie and headquartered in Hangzhou.

Klein Moretti is the protagonist of the source material and an NPC in the game. His history runs as one of the campaign's two story tracks; the player creates their own Beyonder and never plays as Klein.

The first closed beta of Lord of Mysteries (绯红测试), a PC-only, non-monetised wipe test that ran in Mainland China from February 5, 2026. Six of the 22 Pathways were playable, and no test data carried into the August 2026 launch build.

The line headed by the Door (门), entered as the Sequence 9 Apprentice (学徒). A melee magic assassin built on displacement, teleports and burst, with weak survivability. One of the six Pathways playable at launch.

The Visionary line (空想家途径), entered as the Sequence 9 Spectator (观众). The game's ranged magic healer, built on two switchable stances plus a separate talent pair. One of the six Pathways playable at launch.
The core progression discipline. A Beyonder must perform the archetype their next potion represents to digest it safely. Forcing an advancement without it is the studio's stated route to becoming a monster.

The Hermit line (隐者途径), entered as the Sequence 9 Mystery Pryer (窥秘人). A very high spirituality mage built on ranged damage and control, with Mystery Prying as its signature read. One of the six Pathways playable at launch.

Real time third person combat across melee, firearms and Beyonder powers, with a three layer skill structure, two control schemes, stamina and sanity budgets, and holy trinity roles across the six launch Pathways.
Potions gate Sequence advancement. Each recipe has a main ingredient, supplements and a stabiliser, and advancement runs on brewing, drinking, and digesting while practising the Acting Method.
The Gray Fog is a higher-dimension layer above the world that holds the Sefirah Castle and is the venue for Tarot Club gatherings. Distinct from the closed beta that borrowed its name.

Creating an original Beyonder: deep facial sliders, the wardrobe, naming rules, and the choice of one of the six launch Pathways. The player is never Klein Moretti, and the starter outfit set is granted free.
Powerful supernatural items granting strange abilities at significant cost. In the live game they are a full progression system with attack, defence and specialisation slots, socketed materials and a quality-upgrade currency.
Backlund (贝克兰德) is the imperial capital of Loen and the next major region on the game's published plan. It is not part of the launch build; this page covers what has been announced and what the source material establishes.

The Twilight Giant line (黄昏巨人途径), entered as the Sequence 9 Warrior. The party's tank and frontline protector, a greatsword bruiser with the Dawn and Dusk talent pair. One of the six Pathways playable at launch.
The seven mainstream religious institutions of the Northern Continent. They sponsor the major Beyonder organisations and shape Loen's social structure.

Tingen (廷根) is the opening region of Lord of Mysteries and the only city fully playable at launch. Gas-lit industrial streets, the Sinful Tingen layer, six outdoor destinations, and the player's first Beyonder advancement.
The Sun line (太阳途径), entered as the Sequence 9 Bard. A melee physical damage class with party-wide purification and a death-prevention save, explicitly not the party tank. One of the six Pathways playable at launch.

The Northern Continent in the Fifth Epoch: Victorian industry, cosmic horror and occult ritual. The playable launch world centres on Tingen and eight named map regions, with the wider continent staged across a four-year plan.
The launch economy as documented: four Gold Pound top up tiers, a monthly card, two paid battle passes, a platform disclosure that the build contains loot boxes, and the published pity rules for the Connections pull system.
The Tarot Club is Klein Moretti's secret society. Members meet in the Sefirah Castle through ritual and use Tarot codenames.

Two parallel campaigns run at once: a source faithful line following Klein Moretti's history, and the player's own personal line as an original Beyonder. Covers the named launch chapters, side story programs and dice checked exploration.

The PvP ladder in the launch build, from three versus three arenas up through twelve versus twelve, battlegrounds, the thousand player War of the Four Emperors, and the Strategy Server as the top competitive tier.

The discipline that links Beyonders to the supernatural. Ritual components, common ritual types, the Acting check at the centre of every one, and the ways they fail.

Beyonders are the supernaturally empowered humans of Lord of Mysteries, including every player character. The 22 Pathways, the ten-Sequence ladder, Digestion Progress and the sanity cost of power.
Orientation guide for new Lord of Mysteries players: how to install the live client, the two account systems and what each can share, choosing one of the six launch Pathways, Tingen orientation, Acting Method basics, and a day-by-day first ten days.

Group play in the launch build: six player parties, twelve player raids, uncapped world bosses, orders and clubs, the oath system, and a first class solo mode with AI teammates. Includes how account progression carries across devices.
Audrey Hall is the Tarot Club's Justice and a Spectator Pathway Beyonder. She opens the player's story in Tingen, funds their first months, and is granted free as a Connection after seven days of newcomer tasks.
Mr. Fool grafts abilities from the player's future fate onto them at the start of the campaign, which is why a Sequence 9 character already has Spirit Vision and divination. The studio's own framing for the player as the Fool Chosen Child.
The Nighthawks are the principal supernatural law enforcement body in Lord of Mysteries, operating under the Church of the Evernight Goddess.
Lord of Mysteries is a Mainland China release with no announced version elsewhere. What ships in the Mainland service, why no global date or language plan exists, and why the dates circulating in community discussion have no first-party source.
Leonard Mitchell is the NPC who walks the player into a night watcher post at Blackthorn and administers their first potion. Tarot Club codename The Star, and a turn-in contact in Tingen.
