The core progression discipline. A Beyonder must perform the archetype their next potion represents to digest it safely. Forcing an advancement without it is the studio's stated route to becoming a monster.

Creating an original Beyonder: deep facial sliders, the wardrobe, naming rules, and the choice of one of the six launch Pathways. The player is never Klein Moretti, and the starter outfit set is granted free.

Two parallel campaigns run at once: a source faithful line following Klein Moretti's history, and the player's own personal line as an original Beyonder. Covers the named launch chapters, side story programs and dice checked exploration.

The Lord of Mysteries economy as documented: four Gold Pound top up tiers, a monthly card, two paid battle passes, a platform disclosure that the build contains loot boxes, the published pity rules for the Connections pull system, and the version 1.2 additions of Strategic Gold Pounds, a catch up shop and the September cosmetics.

The PvP ladder in the launch build, from three versus three arenas up through twelve versus twelve, battlegrounds, the thousand player War of the Four Emperors, and the Strategy Server as the top competitive tier.

Mr. Fool grafts abilities from the player's future fate onto them at the start of the campaign, which is why a Sequence 9 character already has Spirit Vision and divination. The studio's own framing for the player as the Fool Chosen Child.

The Connections system draws historical projections of past characters as companions, with published pity and wish rules, a standard banner and limited banners (Klein Moretti's from September 17, 2026), a weekly affinity loop, and the Corridor of History sealed artifact that borrows their abilities in combat.

The Strategy Server is the game's top competitive tier: the top four clubs per division qualify, sixteen clubs contest each one, and it opened on September 17, 2026 for a four week campaign of weekly battles scored in Divine Selection points, paying exclusive appearances alongside progression items and currency.

World bosses are open world encounters with no party cap. Anyone in the zone can join, rewards go to contributors, and the studio places them at the top of the combat ladder alongside twelve player raids.

Many world interactions resolve on a dice check rather than a fight. The player rolls two dice against a shown target with a stack of modifiers, and failed checks leave alternative routes open rather than closing the path.

Fool's Chessboard (愚者棋局) is the eight-player auto-battler mode built into Lord of Mysteries, live since the September 17, 2026 update, with 53 pieces, more than a hundred talents, 106 Beyonder equipment items and daily matchmaking from 10:00 to 02:00.
