Release Window

Lord of Mysteries has confirmed a Mainland China public launch (公测, an open beta with permanent servers and no data wipe) on August 21, 2026, announced on July 10, 2026 and running on PC, iOS, and Android together. SPARK NEXA earlier described the launch only as launching within 2026; the confirmed August 21, 2026 date supersedes that broad window. The Mainland launch follows the Crimson Test (February 2026) and the spring / summer 2026 follow-up beta rounds.
Mainland China is the lead region. A separate global launch with English, Japanese, Korean, and other localisation tracks is signposted for later 2026 once the Mainland service has stabilised.
Pre-Registration
Lord of Mysteries takes free pre-registrations (appointments) through its official site and storefront listings. By late June 2026, ahead of the Gray Fog Test, pre-registrations had passed 1.5 million, with cosmetic milestone rewards unlocked at the 200,000, 500,000, and 1,000,000 tiers. Pre-registration is separate from the limited, paid Gray Fog Test: it grants launch-side cosmetic rewards rather than test access. Following the July 10, 2026 launch announcement, appointments are open across all storefronts (App Store pre-order plus PC and Android appointment), and the appointment total surpassed 1.7 million by mid-July 2026, then passed 2 million by early August 2026 (2.02 million on the largest storefront listing, holding first place on its reservation chart).
Platforms
Confirmed launch platforms: PC (Windows 10/11 64-bit) and mobile (iOS, Android).
Cross-platform support: the Gray Fog Test is the first test to open all three platforms (PC, iOS, and Android) at once, but the studio has not confirmed whether accounts or progression are shared across PC and mobile, so a cross-save guarantee is not established yet.
Console (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2): not announced. The studio has not committed to a console release.
macOS: not announced. Crimson Test does not support macOS.
Steam: no Steam store page has been confirmed. The Mainland China client distributes through the studio's own launcher; the global PC client distribution channel has not been finalised.
Storefront Listing Details
The Mainland China iOS listing carries the launch date of August 21, 2026 and sets out the shipping configuration for that region: the game is rated 13+, filed under the role-playing category, and published by Hangzhou Danzhiyuzhou Network Co., Ltd., the legal entity behind SPARK NEXA.
Device and language support on that listing is narrower than the marketing copy implies. The client is listed for iPhone and iPad, is designed for iPad rather than merely scaled to it, and is not verified for macOS. The listed client language is Simplified Chinese only, which is consistent with Mainland China being the lead region and the multi-language client belonging to the separate global launch.
Beta Roadmap
The roadmap as currently sign-posted by SPARK NEXA:
January 15 to February 1, 2026: Crimson Test sign-ups (CN, PC).
February 5 to before February 23, 2026: Crimson Test live build with 6 of 22 Pathways playable (Seer, Apprentice, Spectator, Warrior, Bard, Hermit/Mystery Pryer).
Spring / Summer 2026: Additional CN closed beta phases planned. The next confirmed phase is the Gray Fog Test (灰雾测试), which SPARK NEXA confirmed on May 22, 2026 and which ran from June 26 to July 5, 2026. The Gray Fog Test is the first multi-platform public test, opening PC, iOS, and Android simultaneously; it is structured as a paid wipe test (限量计费删档测试). Specifics including the playable Pathway roster, the Sequence cap, and the iOS and Android minimum specifications were not published ahead of the test.
Late summer / autumn 2026: First global beta phases with English client support.
August 21, 2026: Confirmed Mainland China public launch (公测) across PC, iOS, and Android. A separate global launch with English, Japanese, and Korean support is signposted for later in 2026, after the Mainland service stabilises.
Account and Progression
Crimson Test accounts will be wiped at the end of the test. Subsequent betas may feature limited progression carry-over for cosmetic founder rewards, but no gameplay progression or premium currency carries over to the live game.
Each Crimson Test qualification is bound to a single device. The 'one device per qualification' rule prevents account-sharing across multiple computers; transferring qualification is not supported.
On launch, account region is expected to be locked at first login; regional servers (CN, Global EN, Asia, Europe, Americas) will not share progression at launch. Cross-region transfers and global megaserver options have not been announced.
Pricing
Lord of Mysteries is a free-to-play game with cosmetic-driven monetisation. There is no announced upfront purchase price for any platform. See Monetization for the cash-shop model in detail.
Localisation
The Crimson Test build is Chinese-only: menu strings, voiceovers, and quest text. The full launch is signposted for multi-language support including English, Japanese, and Korean. Specific localisation tracks for additional languages have not been confirmed.
