Overview
Bullets are projectiles used as ammunition for firearms in Crimson Desert. The in-game description reads: "Spherical metal bullets fired using the explosive force of gunpowder. Since each shot consumes a significant amount of gunpowder, they are difficult to use as frequently as arrows."
Bullets are the standard ammunition for firearms such as pistols, muskets, and shotguns. They cost more than arrows at 3 Silver each. This reflects the higher resource cost of gunpowder-based weaponry. Despite the added expense, bullets deliver powerful single-shot damage that complements the slower, more deliberate firing cadence of firearm combat.

How to Obtain
Bullets can be acquired through three methods:
Crafting: Craft at any Blacksmith using 2 Iron Ore plus additional materials. A recipe is required to unlock bullet crafting.
Purchasing: Buy from equipment vendors and weapon merchants for 3 Silver each.
Looting: Dropped by enemy gunners and found in supply crates throughout Pywel.

Crafting Station: Blacksmith
The recipe for bullets must be unlocked before crafting becomes available. The higher Iron Ore requirement (2 pieces compared to 1 for arrows) reflects the denser metal needed for firearm projectiles.
Usage
Bullets serve as the primary ammunition for all firearm-type ranged weapons. When a firearm is equipped, each shot consumes one bullet from the player's inventory. Bullets are loaded into the dedicated ammo slot and can be swapped with other projectile types through the Quick Equipment Slots radial menu.
Because each bullet consumes a significant amount of gunpowder, firearms have a slower rate of fire compared to bows. However, the damage per shot is considerably higher. Players who favor firearm combat should maintain a healthy stockpile of bullets, since running out mid-fight forces a switch to melee or bow combat.
Tips
Bullets are heavier and more expensive than arrows. If cost is a concern, reserve them for boss encounters and tougher enemies.
Craft bullets in bulk when you have excess Iron Ore. Buying from vendors is convenient but adds up quickly at 3 Silver per bullet.
Keep a stack of arrows as a backup in case you run low on bullets during extended exploration.

Bullets can be acquired through three methods:
Purchase: Buy from equipment vendors for 3 Silver each. Most weapon merchants in Hernand and surrounding towns stock bullets.
Crafting: Craft at a Smithy using Iron Ore and additional materials. Kliff knows the bullet recipe by default, so no crafting manual is needed. Crafting requires 2x Iron Ore plus supplementary materials.
Looting: Dropped by enemies who use firearms, especially bandits and soldiers carrying pistols or muskets.
Compatible Weapons
Bullets serve as ammunition for all firearm types in Crimson Desert:
Pistols: Fast-firing sidearms with moderate damage.
Shotguns: Close-range weapons that fire a spread of projectiles.
Comparison with Other Projectiles
Bullets cost 3 Silver each (sell for 1 Silver), making them more expensive than standard Arrows (2 Silver each) but cheaper than Small Cannon Balls. The higher cost reflects the significant amount of gunpowder required for each shot. Players who primarily use firearms should maintain a healthy stockpile or invest time in crafting to reduce costs.
