Overview
Arrows are the standard ammunition for Bows in Crimson Desert. They are consumed each time the player fires a bow, whether in combat or while Hunting wildlife. The in-game description reads: "A weapon to aim at targets from a distance in hunting or combat. Used when attacking with a bow equipped." Arrows can be crafted, purchased from merchants, or looted from enemies.
Because arrows are consumed on use, players who favor ranged combat need a steady supply. Crafting arrows is the most cost-effective method for maintaining a large stockpile, since the raw materials (Timber and Iron Ore) are common gathering resources.

Arrows deal damage based on the equipped bow's attack stat, not the arrow itself. The arrow is simply consumed to enable the shot. Damage bonuses and critical hits come from the bow's properties and any Abyss Gear augments on the weapon.
How to Craft
Arrows are crafted at any Blacksmith station, found in towns and at the Greymane Camp. The recipe is available by default without needing a blueprint. Timber is gathered by Logging trees with an axe, and Iron Ore comes from Mining rock deposits with a pickaxe. Both materials are abundant throughout Pywel.
Acquisition
Arrows can be obtained through three methods:
Crafting: At a Blacksmith using Timber x5 and Iron Ore x1
Purchasing: Buy from weapon merchants and general goods vendors for 2 gold each
Looting: Dropped by enemy archers and found in supply crates throughout the world
Tips
Craft arrows in bulk before long expeditions. Running out mid-hunt is frustrating.
Timber is plentiful, so the bottleneck is usually Iron Ore. Mine ore deposits whenever you pass them.
If you use bows primarily for Hunting rather than combat, you can buy arrows from merchants since the cost is low.
Arrows are lighter than Bullets and cheaper to produce, making bows the more economical ranged option.
