Grape Juice is a category of Juicer-crafted beverages in Starsand Island that come in two variants: Green Grape Juice and Red Grape Juice. Both drinks restore 98 Energy and sell for 210 Gold, but they grant different resource-gathering buffs. Green Grape Juice provides the Bonus Ore buff that increases ore yield when mining, while Red Grape Juice provides the Bonus Timber buff that increases wood yield when logging.

These juices are among the most popular exploration rations in the game because they are simple to produce (requiring only two grapes each) and provide powerful stacking buffs that can dramatically boost resource collection. Players heading into the Moonlit Forest or other gathering areas often stockpile grape juice beforehand to maximize their haul.

Both grape juice recipes unlock through the Farmer Certification questline, specifically at the Junior Farmer tier. The Junior Farmer trial itself involves growing grapes and making juice, so players naturally learn these recipes as part of their profession progression.

Variants

The two grape juice variants share identical base stats for energy restoration and sell price. The key difference is the buff each one grants, which determines when and why players choose one over the other.

Since Green Grapes grow in Spring and Summer while Red Grapes grow in Autumn and Winter, players can produce grape juice year-round by cultivating both varieties. This seasonal pairing ensures a steady supply of both Bonus Ore and Bonus Timber buffs regardless of the time of year.

Recipe Details

Both grape juice recipes are crafted at the Juicer, a processing station whose blueprint can be purchased from the Aureleaf Kitchen in Starsand Town for 550 Gold. The Juicer does not require fuel to operate; simply load the ingredients and it produces the juice automatically.

Each batch of grape juice requires exactly 2 grapes of the matching color. No additional ingredients like Sugar or Honey are needed, which makes grape juice one of the simplest Juicer recipes in the game. Since a single grape plant yields 2 grapes per harvest, one harvest from one trellis provides the exact amount needed for one serving of juice.

Bonus Ore

The Bonus Ore buff is granted by consuming Green Grape Juice. When active, it increases the amount of ore you receive from each mining node. This applies to all ore types, including common minerals and rarer finds like Gold Ore and Coal. The buff stacks up to 5 times, meaning you can drink up to 5 servings of Green Grape Juice to build up the maximum effect before starting a mining run.

Players who rely on mining as a primary income source or need large quantities of ore for crafting often prepare batches of Green Grape Juice before heading to mining areas. A fully stacked Bonus Ore buff can substantially increase the total ore collected in a single trip, cutting down on the number of runs needed to gather materials.

Bonus Timber

The Bonus Timber buff is granted by consuming Red Grape Juice. It works the same way as Bonus Ore but applies to wood gathering instead. When chopping trees with this buff active, you receive more wood per tree. Like its counterpart, Bonus Timber stacks up to 5 times.

This buff is particularly useful during building projects or when stockpiling lumber for furniture crafting. Before a dedicated logging session, drink 5 Red Grape Juices to maximize your timber yield from each tree.

Stacking Tips

• Each serving of grape juice adds one stack of the respective buff. Drink 5 servings to reach the maximum 5x stack.

• The buff is consumed over time or through gathering actions. Bring extra juice on long trips so you can refresh the buff if it wears off.

• Bonus Ore and Bonus Timber are separate buffs, so you can have both active simultaneously if you are both mining and logging in the same trip.

• The Goldspike Blend (12x Wheat, Juicer) also grants Bonus Ore, giving players an alternative source for the mining buff if Green Grapes are not in season.

Ingredient Sourcing

Both grape varieties are trellis crops that require a vertical support structure to grow. Seeds for both Green Grapes and Red Grapes can be purchased from the Happiness Seed Shop for 150 Gold each once you reach the Junior Farmer tier of the Farming profession.

Each grape plant produces 2 grapes per harvest across 3 harvests for a total of 6 grapes per seed. Since each juice requires 2 grapes, one seed generates enough grapes for 3 servings of juice over the plant's lifetime. For a large-scale juice operation, dedicate a row of trellises to grapes and set up sprinklers alongside them for automated watering.

If you obtain Everlasting Seeds for either grape variant, the vine never withers and produces harvests indefinitely. This turns a single trellis into a permanent grape juice supply with minimal upkeep beyond harvesting.

Profitability

Grape juice offers a notable price increase over selling raw grapes. Two grapes worth 95 Gold each (190 Gold total) convert into one juice worth 210 Gold, a gain of 20 Gold per batch. While this markup is modest on its own, the real value of grape juice lies in its buffs rather than its sale price.

Converting grapes to juice adds 60 Gold in revenue per seed over selling the raw crop. However, the true economic value of grape juice is indirect. The Bonus Ore and Bonus Timber buffs allow players to gather significantly more resources per trip, which translates to higher income from selling or crafting with those materials. For most players, drinking the juice is far more profitable than selling it.
