Overview
Zoroark is a Dark-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Illusion Fox Pokemon (Dex #135). This Pokemon cares deeply about others of its kind, and it will conjure terrifying illusions to keep its den and pack safe. Zoroark is paired with Zorua (Dex #134) in the Pokopia Dex. It carries two specialties: Chop and Trade, making it helpful for both lumber processing and item exchanges.
Habitat
Zoroark can be found at two habitats, both of which can be placed in any area. Zoroark is a Rare visitor at both locations.
Breezy Flower Bed (#056)
A bed of refreshing seashore flowers. Pokemon are drawn in by its gentle scent.
Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Seashore Flowers | 4 | Found near coastal areas |
Zoroark is a Rare visitor at this habitat. It is available during all times of day (Dawn, Day, Dusk, Night) and in all weather conditions (Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy). This habitat also attracts Zorua (Common) and Pawmi (Common).
Surprise in Store (#073)
A pop-art box surrounded by balloons. What's in the box? Open it and find out!
Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Balloons | 2 | Craftable or found at event areas |
Boo-in-the-Box | 1 | Found or crafted |
Zoroark is a Rare visitor at this habitat as well. It shares the Surprise in Store habitat with Haunter (Common) and Gengar (Rare). Available at all times and in all weather conditions.
Location
Both habitats can be placed in any area across all biomes. The Breezy Flower Bed is the simpler option, requiring only four Seashore Flowers. The Surprise in Store requires Balloons and a Boo-in-the-Box.
How to Befriend
Build the Breezy Flower Bed for the easiest setup, since it only requires Seashore Flowers. Since Zoroark is Rare at both habitats, be patient and check regularly. Walk up and interact with Zoroark when it appears to befriend it.
Specialties
Chop
Zoroark has the Chop specialty. Pokemon with the Chop specialty can process small logs into lumber. When logs are placed near Zoroark's location, it will chop them into usable lumber for crafting and building.
Trade
Zoroark also has the Trade specialty. Pokemon with this specialty can exchange items with you at a cash register. Place a cash register near Zoroark, and it will staff the register and offer item trades.

Related Pokemon
Zoroark is paired with Zorua (Dex #134). In the main Pokemon series, Zorua evolves into Zoroark at level 30. In Pokopia, both are found independently. Zorua shares the Breezy Flower Bed habitat with Zoroark, where Zorua is Common and Zoroark is Rare. Other Dark-environment Pokemon include Mimikyu, Murkrow, and Umbreon.
Tips
The Breezy Flower Bed is the easiest habitat to build for Zoroark since it only requires four Seashore Flowers. It also lets you find Zorua (Common) at the same time.
Zoroark's dual Chop and Trade specialties give it both resource-processing and shop-running utility, making it a versatile addition to any island.
If you also build the Surprise in Store habitat, you can encounter Zoroark alongside Haunter and Gengar.
Other Chop-specialty Pokemon include Grubbin, Charjabug, and Vikavolt. Pair them with Zoroark for a strong lumber supply.
