Overview
Haunter is a Ghost/Poison-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Gas Pokemon (Dex #094). It stands 5'3" tall while weighing just 0.2 lbs, the same near-weightless mass as its pre-evolution Gastly. Haunter carries the Gather and Trade specialties, the same dual-specialty set shared by the entire Gastly evolutionary line.
The Pokedex describes Haunter: "If you get the feeling of being watched in darkness when nobody is around, Haunter is there." Haunter is the middle stage of the Ghost line, sitting between Gastly (#093) and Gengar (#095). In Pokopia, Haunter is unique among the three because it appears in two different habitats, giving players more opportunities to encounter it.

Specialties
Gather
Haunter has the Gather specialty. Pokemon with Gather will pick up items on the ground and put them inside a community box. Haunter floats through your island collecting scattered items, keeping the area organized without any effort on your part.
Trade
Haunter also has the Trade specialty. Pokemon with Trade can exchange items with you at a Cash Register. Set up a powered Cash Register on a table and Haunter will stock items for barter. The value-based system lets you offer items of matching value to purchase what you need.

Tips
Haunter has two habitats, which gives you more ways to encounter it. The Surprise in Store habitat is easier to build (just Balloons and a Boo-in-the-box) and spawns Haunter at Common rarity.
If you build the Surprise in Store habitat, you also have a chance of encountering Gengar and Zoroark, both at Rare rarity. It is an efficient habitat for collecting multiple Ghost-type and Dark-type Pokemon.
Haunter's preferences are nearly identical to Gastly's, with the only difference being that Haunter likes wobbly stuff while Gastly prefers containers. A shared Ghost-themed area works well for both.
Decorate Haunter's area with spooky items, strange objects, garbage, and wobbly decorations to boost its Comfort Level.
