Overview
Murkrow is a Dark/Flying-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Darkness Pokemon (Dex #167). They awaken at dusk and take wing in the twilight, leading to the expression, "Get home before the Murkrow fly." Murkrow is the pre-evolution of Honchkrow. It carries both the Fly and Trade specialties, making it a dual-purpose Pokemon for transportation and commerce.
Habitats
Murkrow can be found at two habitats. It is a Common visitor at both, but only appears at Night.
Elevated Red Tall Grass (#102)
Red tall grass flourishes even in high-altitude areas like mountaintops.

The elegant aroma of these mountain flowers wafts all throughout the area.

How to Befriend
Build either the Elevated Red Tall Grass or the Tree-shaded Graceful Flower Bed habitat. Since Murkrow only appears at Night, you must visit the habitat during that time period. Murkrow is a Common visitor at both habitats, so it should show up quickly once nighttime arrives. Walk up and interact with it to befriend it.
Specialties
Fly
Murkrow has the Fly specialty. Pokemon with the Fly specialty can transport you to other Pokemon locations via the Pokedex. This makes Murkrow a handy fast-travel companion, saving time when moving between different parts of your island or visiting distant habitats.
Trade
Murkrow also has the Trade specialty. Pokemon with the Trade specialty can exchange items with the player at a cash register. This combination of Fly and Trade makes Murkrow both a transportation option and a shopkeeper. Its evolution Honchkrow shares both specialties.

Related Pokemon
Murkrow evolves into Honchkrow (Dex #168) in the main Pokemon series when exposed to a Dusk Stone. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so each must be found at its own habitat. Both Murkrow and Honchkrow share the Fly and Trade specialties. Murkrow is a Common visitor at two habitats, while Honchkrow is a Rare visitor at the Chirping Recital habitat (#125). Both are nocturnal and only appear at Night.
Tips
Murkrow only appears at Night, so make sure to check its habitats during that time period. Visiting during the day will not produce any Murkrow sightings.
With both Fly and Trade specialties, Murkrow is one of the most versatile Common Pokemon in the game. Befriend it early to unlock fast travel and item trading.
If you want Honchkrow, you will need to build the separate Chirping Recital habitat (#125). Honchkrow does not appear at Murkrow's habitats.
Murkrow shares its dark environment preference and nocturnal schedule with Pokemon like Umbreon, Zorua, and Larvitar. Grouping their habitats in a dark-themed area benefits all of them.
