Overview
Cacnea is a Grass-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Cactus Pokemon (Dex #055). Cacnea is found at the Sunny Day Site habitat (#042) in Withered Wasteland. It carries the Grow specialty, which accelerates the growth of nearby plants. Cacnea is one of the few weather-exclusive Pokemon in the game, only appearing during Sunny conditions. Its counterpart in the main series is Cacturne, though there is no evolution mechanic in Pokopia.
Habitat
Cacnea spawns at the Sunny Day Site habitat (#042), which is one of the two weather-controlling habitats in the game (alongside the Rain Dance Site). The Sunny Day Site requires:

The Sunny Day Site is a weather-controlling habitat. Building it and activating it with a Burn specialty Pokemon forces the weather to Sunny in the surrounding area. Cacnea exclusively appears during Sunny conditions, making it one of the few truly weather-exclusive Pokemon in the game.
Location
Cacnea appears in Withered Wasteland, the starting region. You need to obtain Castform Weather Charms to build the Sunny Day Site. The first Charm is given during the "Yawn Up a Storm" quest, and additional Charms can be found at Professor Tangrowth's trolley in the starting cave.
How to Befriend
Build the Sunny Day Site habitat by placing two Castform Weather Charms and one Plated Food dish near each other. Activate the site with a Burn specialty Pokemon to force Sunny weather. Cacnea will then appear as a Common visitor. Walk up and interact with Cacnea to befriend it.

Grow
Cacnea has the Grow specialty. Pokemon with this specialty accelerate the growth of nearby plants, including crops, flowers, and tall grass patches. Place Cacnea near your gardens and it will speed up plant growth during its free time. Grow is one of the most useful specialties for farming and landscaping.

Tips
Cacnea only appears during Sunny weather. If you want to befriend Cacnea, build a Sunny Day Site and activate it with a Burn specialty Pokemon to force the weather.
