Overview
Cacturne is a Grass/Dark-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Scarecrow Pokemon (Dex #056). Cacturne is found at the Tree-Shaded Flower Bed habitat in Withered Wasteland. It carries both the Grow and Litter specialties, making it both a plant-growth accelerator and a passive resource producer. Cacturne drops Sturdy Stick as its Litter item. In the main series, Cacturne is the evolution of Cacnea, though there is no evolution mechanic in Pokopia.
Habitat
Cacturne lives in the Tree-Shaded Flower Bed habitat (#009). This habitat requires the following items to construct:
Habitat | Requirements | Other Pokemon | Rarity |
|---|---|---|---|
Tree-Shaded Flower Bed (#009) | Berry Tree x1, Wildflowers x4 | Rare |
Cacturne shares the Tree-Shaded Flower Bed with Goomy and Vikavolt. Goomy is a Common visitor while both Cacturne and Vikavolt are Rare, so you may see several Goomy before a Cacturne appears.
Location
Cacturne appears in Withered Wasteland, the starting region. Place a Berry Tree surrounded by Wildflowers to create the Tree-Shaded Flower Bed habitat. Cacturne becomes active at night based on its Pokedex entry, but it can appear at any time of day in the habitat.
How to Befriend
Build the Tree-Shaded Flower Bed habitat by placing one Berry Tree and four Wildflowers near each other. After a short wait, the habitat will activate. Cacturne is a Rare visitor, so patience is needed. Walk up and interact with Cacturne to befriend it.
Specialties
Grow
Cacturne has the Grow specialty. Pokemon with this specialty accelerate the growth of nearby plants, including crops, flowers, and tall grass patches. Place Cacturne near your gardens and it will speed up plant growth during its free time.
Litter
Cacturne also has the Litter specialty. As Cacturne walks around, it drops Sturdy Stick as a resource. Sturdy Stick is a useful crafting material. Litter Pokemon passively produce items as they move through the world, so having Cacturne stationed in a busy area generates a steady supply.

Tips
Cacturne's dual Grow and Litter specialties make it a strong choice for farming areas. Station it near your gardens to accelerate crop growth while passively collecting Sturdy Stick.
Unlike Cacnea, Cacturne is not weather-exclusive. It appears in all weather conditions at the Tree-Shaded Flower Bed, making it easier to encounter in that regard.
Furnish Cacturne's living area with dry, nature-themed, and luxury items to match its preferences and increase its Comfort Level.
If you need Grow-specialty Pokemon before finding Cacturne's Rare spawn, Cacnea (Common at Sunny Day Site) or Bulbasaur are easier alternatives.
