Overview
Earrings are one of the four accessory types in Crimson Desert. Players can equip up to two earrings at a time. Earrings generally focus on defensive stats, with some providing secondary bonuses like Movement Speed and Health Regeneration. At higher refinement levels, all earrings unlock additional Health Regeneration bonuses.
Earrings can be obtained from Strongbox puzzles, enemy drops, vendor purchases, and Contribution Shops. Like all accessories, earrings can be refined at a Blacksmith up to level 10, and duplicate earrings can be used as refinement materials.

Comparison
For pure defense, the Flower Petal Earring at +5 Defense is the clear winner. For a balance of defense and utility, the Ancient Earring and Witch's Earring both provide +2 Defense alongside Movement Speed and Health Regeneration. The Oath of Darkness is a strong pure-defense option at +2 Defense with no secondary effects.
For the best defensive earring loadout, consider pairing the Flower Petal Earring with either the Ancient Earring or Witch's Earring. This provides +7 Defense total plus mobility and health regeneration from the second slot.
Refinement
All earrings can be refined at a Blacksmith up to level 10. Earring refinement generally unlocks additional Health Regeneration bonuses at higher levels. Duplicate earrings or other accessories can be used as refinement materials. Stacking two copies of the same earring is a valid strategy for maximizing a specific stat profile.
Stat Formula
Every earring in Crimson Desert follows a fixed stat skeleton made up of a defense line and a health regen line. Both are non-negotiable baselines that every earring carries regardless of refinement path. The only variable is the secondary line, which is a tradeoff between raw defense value and movement speed. Earrings are global-slot accessories like rings and necklaces, so the stats apply to every weapon in your loadout and even to unarmed combat.
Pure-defense earrings: trade movement speed for extra raw defense. Only worth picking when you are tuning defense to a specific hard fight or scaling deep into a tank build.
Movement-speed earrings: trade some defense for a 4 movement speed secondary line at max refinement. Two of these stacked together deliver 8 global movement speed, which is the mobility target for the foundation doctrine.
Best Baseline Pair
The two earrings that currently hit the 4 movement speed tier at full refinement are the Witch's Earring and the Black Lion Earring. The Witch's Earring is a free strongbox pickup at Southern Court southwest of Demenissh (the easiest puzzle in the game), and the Black Lion Earring is rewarded for skinning the black lion at the end of the Legendary Hunter quest chain in Hernand. Together they provide 8 global movement speed that follows you across every weapon, every mount dismount, and every unarmed combo.
A couple of craftable earrings from Accessories of the World Volume 2 and Volume 3 are believed to roll similar stats, but this has not been confirmed in the current patch. Until the data is verified, the Witch's Earring plus Black Lion Earring pair remains the movement speed baseline that every build should target before experimenting with craftable alternatives.
Notes
Players can equip two earrings simultaneously, meaning earring choices contribute significantly to overall stats.
Most earrings in the game are defensive in nature, providing Defense rather than Attack.
Several earrings are exclusive strongbox rewards, making Strongbox Puzzle Locations and Solutions an important reference for accessory hunters.
