Infinite Arrows III
Infinite Arrows III is a Tier 3 Abyss Gear effect in Crimson Desert that provides a 60% chance not to consume arrows when firing a bow. It is the strongest version of the Infinite Arrows family. When combined with Infinite Arrows II (40%), the two effects stack for a full 100% chance not to consume arrows, effectively granting unlimited ammunition on just two abyss gear slots.
Overview

As a Tier 3 abyss effect, Infinite Arrows III cannot be obtained as a guaranteed drop from any boss or quest. It must be crafted through the Special Synthesis system at the Witch's workshop, which involves RNG-based fusion of lower-tier abyss gears. The crafting process can be time-consuming, but the payoff is significant: combined with Infinite Arrows II, it provides the most slot-efficient path to 100% arrow conservation.

How to Obtain
Infinite Arrows III is crafted through Special Synthesis at the Witch's workshop.
Crafting Process
Visit any Witch's workshop and select "Craft Abyssal Gear" from the menu.
Navigate to the third tab, labeled "Special Synthesis." This is the fusion interface.
Select two Tier 2 abyss gears to fuse. The system requires one "normal" type (movement speed, crit rate, attack power, etc.) and one "special" type (damage to humanoids, chance to disarm, chance not to consume arrows, etc.).
Initiate the fusion. The outcome is determined by RNG.
Fusion Probabilities
The outcome tier depends on the input gear tiers:
Input Tiers | Tier 2 Result | Tier 3 Result |
|---|---|---|
Tier 2 + Tier 2 | ~50% | ~46% |
To get Infinite Arrows III, you need a Tier 3 result with the "Chance Not to Consume Arrows" effect. Using two Tier 2 gears gives roughly a 46% chance of producing a Tier 3 result. However, the specific effect is also randomized, so multiple attempts may be needed.
Recommended Farming Strategy
Farm abyss gears from Abyss Nexus locations, boss encounters, and chest loot throughout the world.
Extract special-type effects from gear you are not using. Go to the Witch and select "Extract" to pull effects out of unused equipment.
Fuse pairs of Tier 1 gears together first. With roughly a 46% chance of producing Tier 2 results, about half of your fusions will yield usable Tier 2 material.
Once you have a stockpile of Tier 2 gears, fuse them in pairs. Each fusion has approximately a 46% chance of producing a Tier 3 result.
Save before fusing. If RNG is unkind, reloading a save and trying again is a common and effective strategy for obtaining the exact Tier 3 effect you need.
Stacking for 100% Arrow Conservation
The most efficient combo is Infinite Arrows III (60%) + Infinite Arrows II (40%) = 100%. This uses only two abyss gear slots on your bow, leaving three additional slots free for offensive or utility cores. Infinite Arrows II is a guaranteed drop from Karanda in the Pailune area, making the total setup only require RNG for this one piece.
Game-Breaking Potential
Together with Infinite Arrows II, Infinite Arrows III forms the core of what many players consider the most overpowered build in Crimson Desert. With 100% arrow conservation from the two gears combined, you can load a single explosive arrow and fire it indefinitely. The constant stream of arrows means critical hits proc at an extremely high rate when combined with crit-stacking gear.
The full bow cheese build uses a high crit bow such as the Bow of the Fleeting (innate +2 crit) along with Insight gears for additional crit rate, pushing toward the internal cap. In practice, this means almost every arrow that lands is a critical hit. The gameplay loop involves spamming Evasive Shot to keep bosses permanently stagger-locked, then switching to charged Focus Shot for massive burst damage with explosive flaming arrows.
Veteran players describe this setup as "if anything in this game is truly broken, it's these." The combination makes virtually every boss fight trivial, to the point where many players avoid using it to preserve the challenge. A Destruction 3 gear in the remaining bow slot rounds out the build with extra attack damage.
Tips
Be aware that a "Greater Infinite Arrows" core exists that provides 100% in a single slot. However, it has a durability limit and breaks after extended use, requiring you to farm it again. The multi-slot approach with Infinite Arrows II + III is more reliable for permanent use.
A 5-socket bow like the Golden-Knotted Ancestral Bow is ideal, giving you two slots for infinite arrows and three for offensive cores.
Once at 100%, buy a single Explosive Arrow from the Back Alley Shop in Demeniss and fire it indefinitely for massive boss damage.

Special Synthesis Farm
Infinite Arrows III does not have a guaranteed source. It rolls as a possible outcome of Special Synthesis at a witch, combining Abyss Gear materials extracted from enemy shields and maces. The recommended farm is the disarm loop at Frost Hold Cave or the Icewatch Altar, near the Spire of Frost, where small-shield parry disarms enemies so you (or your pet) can collect their dropped gear.
Farm Procedure
Skydive from the nearby sky island into one of those uncleared camps. Equip a sword plus a small shield (not a tower shield), tap an enemy, hold L1 to block, and press R1 immediately after they connect a hit to disarm them. Summon your pet from the inventory to help pick up maces and shields. Gather roughly 20 of each, visit the Hernand Witch, extract every abyss gear, and then run Special Synthesis in the Create Abyss Gear menu. Save before each synthesis if you want to save-scum for rolls. Keep any infinite arrows gears out of the synthesis pool so they do not get consumed as materials.
Stacking Note
Infinite Arrows III gives a 60% refund chance. Pairing it with the guaranteed Infinite Arrows II from Queen of the Skies brings the total to 100%. This two-slot stack is preferred over Greater Infinite Arrows because it avoids the durability break that the greater variant carries.
