Overview
The Circuit Hijacking Helm (sometimes called the Circuit Hacking Helmet by players) is a Mystery Gear classified as a Key Item in Crimson Desert. It provides 5 Defense and grants Daze Immunity as its special effect. Unlike standard equipment, the Circuit Hijacking Helm cannot be sold and serves a unique gameplay function: it enables the Circuit Hijack ability, which allows players to disrupt or take control of enemies during combat.
The helm is found inside the Clockwork Cabin in Hernand, sitting on a desk. The cabin is located near intersecting waterways in the area. The Circuit Hijack ability is most effective against mechanical enemies and advanced units, making this item particularly valuable in mid-to-late game regions where such opponents become more common.

Location
The Circuit Hijacking Helm is found inside the Clockwork Cabin, a small structure located in Hernand near intersecting waterways. The cabin is part of a group of structures in the area. When facing the group of buildings, the Clockwork Cabin is the one on the right side.
Inside the cabin, the helm is sitting on a desk. It can be picked up directly without any combat encounter or puzzle requirement.
Circuit Hijack Ability
Equipping the Circuit Hijacking Helm grants access to the Circuit Hijack ability. This ability allows the player to disrupt or take control of an enemy's actions during combat, creating openings for follow-up attacks or temporarily neutralizing threats.
How to Use
To use Circuit Hijack, first equip the helm from the equipment menu. During combat, hold the selection input to begin aiming at a target enemy. A detection indicator will appear on the targeted enemy. When the detection is confirmed, release the input to execute the hijack.
A successful Circuit Hijack can produce several effects on the targeted enemy:
Disable: The enemy is temporarily shut down and unable to act.
Interrupt: The enemy's current action or attack is cancelled.
Create Openings: The enemy is left vulnerable, allowing the player and allies to deal damage freely for a short window.
Effectiveness
The Circuit Hijack ability is most effective against mechanical enemies and advanced units. These enemy types are more susceptible to the hijacking effect, resulting in longer disable durations and more reliable interrupts. Against standard organic enemies, the ability may have reduced effectiveness or shorter disruption windows.
Because mechanical enemies and advanced units appear more frequently in mid-to-late game regions, the Circuit Hijacking Helm becomes increasingly useful as the player progresses further into the game.
Tips
The Daze Immunity special effect is useful on its own, preventing the player from being stunned by daze-inflicting attacks regardless of whether the Circuit Hijack ability is actively used.
Since the helm cannot be sold, there is no reason not to keep it in your inventory. Equip it whenever you expect to face mechanical or advanced enemies.
Use Circuit Hijack on dangerous enemies mid-attack to interrupt their most powerful moves. This is especially helpful during encounters with multiple enemies, where disabling one temporarily evens the odds.
The Clockwork Cabin in Hernand is easy to miss if you are not exploring near the waterways. Look for the group of structures near the intersecting waterways and check the right-side cabin.
Pair the Circuit Hijacking Helm with weapons and abilities that capitalize on enemy vulnerability windows, since a successful hijack leaves the target open to damage.
