Add comprehensive internal wiki links to all relevant terms
All 15 characters on Starsand Island can be romanced regardless of your character's gender. NPCs observe who you spend time with, what you gift and to whom, and how you treat others — they will bring it up in conversation.
The full dating system is not yet implemented in the current Early Access build. You can raise affection and unlock heart levels, but expanded dating content (dates, deeper romantic events) is scheduled for the April 2026 update. Everything below about heart levels and gifts works now; the dating mechanics will be added later.
1 Heart (90 points): Basic interactions unlocked. NPCs start gifting you during daily interactions.
2 Hearts (220 points): You can take photos with the NPC.
3 Hearts (370 points): You can enter the NPC's bedroom. Treasure chest with exclusive decor inside. Shared outings unlocked (Hot Springs visits, bike rides, backyard swings).
4 Hearts: NPC posts requests on the Bulletin Board specifically for you. Character-specific items as rewards.
5 Hearts: You can ask them to move in with you. They will help around the farm — clearing debris, tending animals, and watering plants.
Bulletin Board requests: 15 to 25 points per completion.
Finding lost items: 20 points.
Completing quests: 50 points.
Daily chat: 5 points.
Daily gift (loved): 15 points.
Daily gift (liked): 10 points.
Daily gift (neutral): 5 points.
Disliked/hated gift: 0 points (no affection lost).
See the full gift guide for every character's preferences. Here are the universal safe picks:
Moonflower: Liked or loved by almost every NPC. The one exception is Loren, who hates it.
Chilled Twilight Salad: Another safe cooked dish. Most characters at least like it.
Coconut: Broadly liked across nearly all characters.
Plain Noodles: Liked or neutral for the majority of NPCs.
Dragon Fruit: Liked by most characters.

Focus on 2–3 NPCs: Since gifts are limited to once per day per character, spreading across all 15 slows progress. Target the characters you care about.
Loved > Liked: +15 vs +10 per day adds up. Finding each character's loved gift saves weeks of progress.
Grow Moonflowers: Farm them in the Moonlit Forest and give one to every NPC daily as a safe fallback.
Check the Social app: Your phone tracks discovered preferences — no need to memorize everything.
Bulletin Board quests: Worth 15–25 points each. Accept quests from characters you want to build affection with.
Match profession to gifts: Farming items for Graminova, crafting materials for Zerine, metals for Neona, mushrooms for Loren.
