Overview
Larvesta is a Bug/Fire-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Torch Pokemon (Dex #183). The people of ancient times believed that Larvesta fell from the sun. It is the pre-evolution of Volcarona and carries the Burn and Litter specialties.
Habitat
Larvesta is found at the Tree-shaded Graceful Flower Bed habitat, a nature-themed area that attracts Pokemon drawn to elegant mountain flower aromas.
Tree-shaded Graceful Flower Bed (#105)
The elegant aroma of these mountain flowers wafts all throughout the area.
Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Pointy Tree | 1 | Any pointy tree variant |
Mountain Flowers | 1 | Planted or found in the wild |
Larvesta appears as a Common visitor at this habitat. It is available during Morning, Day, Evening, and Night hours in Sunny, Cloudy, and Rainy weather. Other visitors at this habitat include Murkrow (Common) and Volcarona (Very Rare).
How to Befriend
Build the Tree-shaded Graceful Flower Bed by placing one Pointy Tree and one set of Mountain Flowers near each other. Larvesta is a Common visitor, so it should show up without much waiting. Walk up and interact with it to add Larvesta to your island. This habitat also attracts Volcarona as a Very Rare visitor, giving you a chance to befriend both members of the family.
Specialties
Burn
The Burn specialty allows Larvesta to set fire to flammable objects. This is useful for clearing debris, processing raw materials, and powering fire-dependent crafting stations around your island.
Litter
The Litter specialty causes Larvesta to drop useful materials near its home. Larvesta produces Twine, a crafting material used in various recipes. Check near its habitat periodically to collect the dropped items.

Related Pokemon
Larvesta evolves into Volcarona (Dex #184) in the main Pokemon series at Level 59. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so each must be found independently. Both Larvesta and Volcarona appear at the Tree-shaded Graceful Flower Bed habitat (#105), although Volcarona is Very Rare there. Volcarona can also be found at the Piping-hot Lava habitat (#115) at Rare rarity.
Tips
The Tree-shaded Graceful Flower Bed only requires two furniture items (Pointy Tree and Mountain Flowers), making it one of the simplest habitats to build.
Larvesta's Litter specialty produces Twine, which is a useful crafting material for various recipes and items.
If you are looking for Volcarona, keep checking this habitat. Volcarona is a Very Rare visitor here, so patience is needed.
Larvesta shares the Burn specialty with many other Fire-type Pokemon like Scorbunny and Raboot. Having multiple Burn Pokemon gives you more flexibility in fire processing tasks.
