Overview

Crobat is a Poison/Flying-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Bat Pokemon (Dex #083). Crobat is the most capable member of the Zubat family in Pokopia, carrying two specialties: Chop for processing logs into lumber and Search for finding buried items. Like the rest of its evolutionary line, Crobat is a nocturnal Pokemon that only appears at night. It can be found at two different habitats: Elevated Yellow Tall Grass (Very Rare) and Trash Disposal Site (Rare).

Habitats

Crobat can spawn at two different habitats. Both require nighttime for Crobat to appear.

Elevated Yellow Tall Grass

Crobat appears as a Very Rare visitor at the Elevated Yellow Tall Grass habitat, only during the night. This habitat can be built across most regions including Withered Wastelands, Bleak Beach, Rocky Ridges, Sparkling Skylands, Palette Town, and Cloud Island.

Trash Disposal Site

Crobat appears as a Rare visitor at the Trash Disposal Site habitat, only during the night. Crobat is the only Pokemon that spawns at this habitat. The materials for this habitat are found throughout Bleak Beach.

Other Pokemon in Elevated Yellow Tall Grass

Location

The Trash Disposal Site habitat is the easier route for finding Crobat, since it is the only Pokemon that spawns there. Materials like Garbage Bags and Utility Poles are found in Bleak Beach, the ruins of Vermilion City. The Elevated Yellow Tall Grass habitat can be built in any region with elevated terrain, but Crobat's Very Rare spawn rate there makes it a less reliable option.

How to Befriend

The recommended approach is to build the Trash Disposal Site habitat using Garbage Bags and a Utility Pole. Wait until nighttime, and Crobat should appear as a Rare visitor. Walk up and interact with Crobat to befriend it. Building multiple Trash Disposal Site habitats increases the odds of encountering Crobat.

Specialties

Chop

Crobat has the Chop specialty. Pokemon with Chop can break small logs into lumber (10 logs yield 50 lumber per batch). Place Crobat near a log pile or workshop, and it will process logs during its free time. Lumber is a core building material used in construction, furniture, and crafting throughout the game.

Search

Crobat also has the Search specialty. If you hold the Dowsing Machine and press the A button while walking with Crobat, you will start looking for buried items. This dual-specialty combination makes Crobat one of the most useful nocturnal Pokemon in the game.

Evolution Line

Crobat is the final stage of the Zubat evolutionary line and the only member with the Chop specialty. If you need both log processing and treasure hunting from a single Pokemon, Crobat is the best choice in this family.

Tips

• The Trash Disposal Site is the best habitat for finding Crobat, since it is the only Pokemon that spawns there. Build multiple copies to increase spawn chances.

• Crobat's Chop specialty makes it a good alternative to Scizor or Scyther for log processing, especially at night when those Pokemon may not be active.

• Furnish Crobat's habitat area with dark, spooky, and garbage-themed items to increase its Comfort Level.

• Crobat is one of the few Pokemon with both a resource-processing specialty (Chop) and a utility specialty (Search), making it highly versatile for night operations.
