Overview
Spa and wellness activities in inZOI give players multiple ways to manage their Zoi's stress, replenish needs, and build the Fitness skill. The system spans two distinct contexts. In the base game, Zois can practice yoga and meditation at home using purchasable equipment, visit outdoor gyms in Dowon and Bliss Bay, and take baths or showers to restore Hygiene. The Island Getaway DLC (released August 20, 2025) added a dedicated resort spa in Cahaya with professional massage services, saunas, and group yoga sessions at multiple island locations.
The March 2026 update (v0.7.0) further expanded wellness gameplay by adding new massage and yoga business interactions for spa-type businesses, 12 group fitness activities, and a tip jar system that lets spa and gym owners earn extra income based on customer satisfaction.
Sri Lestari Resort Spa
The spa is located inside the Sri Lestari Resort on the resort island of Cahaya. Zois need a Spa Pass to enter the spa area. Once inside, several services are available from the resort staff. The spa also includes a sauna and connects to the broader resort recreation complex.
Massage Services
The resort spa offers six different massage and soak options, each performed by trained resort staff at designated stations. Each massage type provides a mood boost and reduces the Zoi's stress. Full-body massages give the largest benefit, while foot soaks are quicker but offer a smaller effect.

Sauna
The resort spa includes a sauna area available to all Spa Pass holders. Zois can sit in the sauna for an extended session to reduce stress and improve their overall comfort. The sauna restores both the Energy and Fun needs over time. Spending too long in the sauna can cause discomfort, so timing matters. A moderate session of a few in-game hours provides the best balance between stress relief and comfort.
Yoga
Yoga is available both in the base game and at expanded locations in Cahaya. Using a yoga mat builds the Fitness skill and restores the Energy and Fun needs. Zois start with simple poses and unlock additional poses as the Fitness skill increases, eventually allowing players to develop custom routines.

Yoga sessions improve flexibility and mental well-being. The activity takes time to complete, but the mood benefits last for several in-game hours afterward.
Yoga at Home
Zois can purchase yoga mats from the Build Mode menu for home use. Three variants exist: indoor, outdoor, and balanced. The indoor yoga mat costs 5 Meow, making it one of the cheapest items in Build Mode. As the Zoi's Fitness level increases, they unlock additional poses and can develop personalized routines.

Meditation
Meditation at Home
Meditation is available exclusively on the indoor yoga mat. It reduces stress and improves a Zoi's emotional state by calming the active emotion. Unlike yoga exercises, meditation does not contribute significantly to Fitness skill leveling. Instead, its primary benefit is restoring the Energy need and shifting the Zoi's active emotion toward a more neutral or positive state.
Meditation with Cats at Miatara Temple
At the Miatara Temple (the Cat Temple in northeast Cahaya), Zois can participate in meditation sessions surrounded by the temple's resident cats. The cats wander around during the meditation, and their presence adds a calming effect. Meditation at the temple reduces stress and improves the Zoi's emotional state, with a focus on inner peace and contentment. The temple meditation is a standalone interaction and does not require owning a yoga mat.
Fitness and Gym Venues
Physical exercise is another pillar of wellness in inZOI. The Fitness skill is one of the original 13 skills available at launch, accessible from the Teenager life stage through Senior and leveling from 1 to 10. Exercise improves health and physical conditioning, and higher Fitness levels unlock visible muscle definition on the Zoi's body. At Fitness Level 3, Zois unlock the ability to go surfing at Bliss Bay.
Gym Locations
As of the current version, inZOI has outdoor gym locations but no dedicated indoor gyms in the open world. Players can, however, place gym equipment inside their homes through Build Mode at no cost for placement in public spaces.

Fitness Equipment for Home Use
Players can purchase fitness equipment from the Build Mode menu and place it in their homes or on public lots. Equipment ranges from a 5 Meow yoga mat to a 4,100 Meow treadmill. Options include upper body, lower body, and cardio machines. Using workout equipment drains other needs faster than yoga (particularly Hygiene and Hunger), so Zois often need a shower and a meal after an intense workout session.

Bathing and Hygiene
Bathing is one of the most fundamental wellness activities. The Hygiene need is one of four Physical needs, and it depletes over time or faster when the Zoi exercises, works outdoors, or lives in a dirty home. Taking a shower or bath is the most effective way to restore the Hygiene meter. Baths also provide a secondary benefit: they restore the Energy need, making them useful for tired Zois who need both hygiene and rest.
Hygiene Consequences
A Zoi with critically low Hygiene becomes Uncomfortable, and other Zois will avoid social interactions with them. Selecting "Soothe Yourself with a Warm Bath" from the shower or bathtub menu removes the Uncomfortable emotion. After bathing, Zois change into a bathrobe before selecting their outfit, a behavior added in the v0.7.0 update. The March 2026 update also added emotional state animations for showering and bathing, so a Zoi who is Angry or Melancholy will visibly express those emotions during their bath.
March 2026 Update: Wellness Business Interactions
The v0.7.0 update (March 26, 2026) introduced several improvements to wellness-related businesses:
Massage and Yoga Business Interactions
New service interactions for massage and spa-type businesses were added, along with yoga class interactions. Business owners who operate spas or gyms can now offer massage and yoga services to visiting customers. These interactions were added as business items, meaning they function similarly to food items in restaurants or drinks in bars: customers engage with the service, and the business earns revenue.
Tip Jar System
Business owners can place a tip jar on their property. Customers leave tips based on their satisfaction level, providing an additional revenue stream. For spa and gym businesses, this means that high-quality massage or yoga sessions lead to larger tips.
Customer Satisfaction
A new UI element displays satisfaction information for visiting customers. This helps spa and gym owners monitor how their services are performing and make adjustments to staffing or equipment placement to improve the customer experience.
Group Fitness Activities
The v0.7.0 update added 12 new fitness-related group activities, enabling Zois to exercise together. These include various exercise routines, stretching, and workout sessions performed as a group. Participating in group activities builds the Fitness skill and also increases relationship scores between the participating Zois. Group fitness can be performed at gyms, parks, or any location with appropriate equipment.
Gameplay Effects
All wellness activities share a common purpose: managing the Zoi's internal needs and emotions. In inZOI, stress accumulates from work, conflict, unmet needs, and negative events. If a need drops below 30%, the Zoi will automatically interrupt their current activity within 30 minutes of game time to address it. Wellness activities serve as a direct counter to stress buildup and need decay.

Purchase a Spa Pass early when visiting Cahaya. The stress reduction from massages can keep your Zoi productive throughout the vacation.
Combine yoga and meditation in the same day for a stronger overall mood boost. Use the indoor yoga mat for meditation, then switch to any mat for yoga exercises.
The fish bucket foot soak is the quickest spa option if your Zoi is short on time between other resort activities.
Visit the Miatara Temple for meditation during the morning hours when fewer NPCs are around for a quieter experience.
Place a yoga mat at home for a low-cost wellness routine. At just 5 Meow, the indoor yoga mat is one of the cheapest Build Mode items and provides both yoga and meditation.

Reading Fitness novels is a passive way to level the skill when your Zoi is too tired for physical activity. Just make sure the book displays the Fitness skill icon.
After bathing, Zois will automatically change into a bathrobe before picking an outfit. Plan bath time before wardrobe changes to avoid wasted time.
