Overview
The Dairy Cow is a domesticated livestock variant raised specifically for milk production in Crimson Desert. Unlike regular cows, Dairy Cows are kept on ranches and managed through the Housing and Farming system at the player's camp. They are listed in the Knowledge System as a lifeform entry.
Milk Production
Dairy Cows are the primary source of Milk, a fresh ingredient used in Cooking recipes and beverages. The Milk Harvest Mission at Bloomwood Ranch introduces players to dairy production as part of the "Field of Abundance" questline given by Ben at Greymane Camp.
To begin producing milk, players must complete the Milk Harvest Mission through the dispatch board at Bloomwood Ranch. Once the ranch facility is constructed at Howling Hill, Dairy Cows can be raised alongside other livestock for ongoing milk production.
In-Game Role
Milk from Dairy Cows feeds directly into the camp's cooking system. It is used as an ingredient in several recipes and provides a renewable resource without requiring players to purchase it from vendors. Keeping Dairy Cows at the ranch means a steady supply of milk alongside the meat and hides produced by other livestock.
