Overview
Bone Shot converts bone loot into multi-pellet close-range ammunition. Each shell fires 6 pellets at 30% base damage each, which total 180% damage when every pellet connects. Bone Shot is the specialist choice for Blunderbuss loadouts in cramped combat, trading effective range for raw close-quarters output.

Where to Get Bones
Bones drop from most wildlife and undead, including the Boar, Wolf, Crocodile, Plague Thrall, Drowner, and Swollen Drowned. Exploration loot chests also yield them, so a powderman who fights through the Cursed Swamps rarely runs short of raw material.
Best Used For
Boarding actions: full pellet spreads in tight deck spaces.
Cave and dungeon fights where enemies close the gap.
Breaking heavy pirate poise at point-blank range.
Damage Notes
Bone Shot is specifically a Blunderbuss ammunition type. Using it in pistols or muskets is not supported.
It fires a spread of pellets dealing Slash damage, unlike the standard Pierce bullets a blunderbuss otherwise chambers.
Damage decays noticeably with distance; it is a close-range specialist, not a general-purpose round.
Because all six pellets must connect for the full 180%, the round rewards firing into a tightly packed group rather than at a single distant target.

Grouped Plague Thralls or Plague Warriors in the Cursed Swamps: the spread plus the Slash conversion synergizes well with the Dragon's Breath blunderbuss and its Epic fire-explosion perk.
