Version 1.0.3
Released: April 8, 2026 | This update addresses nine bugs and makes one improvement. All issues listed below are automatically resolved after installing the patch if they were previously encountered. This update is required for your game to go online.
Improvements
One issue was improved but not fully resolved:
Controller vibration: An issue where the controller vibrated continuously has been made less likely to occur.
Bug Fixes
Nine bugs were fixed in this patch:
Area | Issue | Fix |
|---|---|---|
Pokedex | Pokemon whose habitats have disappeared cannot be found even when searching for them using the Search function in the Pokedex. | The Pokedex Search function now correctly locates Pokemon without active habitats. |
When traveling to a Dream Island under certain circumstances, you arrive at Palette Town and are unable to return to the original town. | Dream Island travel now correctly sends players to the selected island and allows normal return. | |
All areas | When moving between towns or when the in-game date changes, the screen remains dark, making it difficult to operate the game. | Screen brightness now updates correctly during town transitions and date changes. |
All areas | If you perform certain actions, it becomes impossible to relocate Pokemon habitats. | Habitat relocation now works consistently regardless of prior actions. |
All areas | If construction is carried out in a certain way, building projects will not be completed until the in-game date changes. | Building projects now complete correctly without requiring a date change. |
Performing certain actions prevents progress during the request "Power Up the Charging Station!" | The request now progresses correctly regardless of player actions. | |
Performing certain actions causes the Pokemon that you requested construction help from to be removed. | Construction helper Pokemon are no longer incorrectly removed during building projects. | |
Performing certain actions causes seasonal Pokemon to disappear from the town and Cloud Island. | Seasonal Pokemon now persist correctly on Cloud Islands after performing actions. | |
When creating a new Cloud Island, an error occurs and the island cannot be created. | New Cloud Islands can now be created without errors. |
Version 1.0.2
Released: March 17, 2026 | This is the first major post-launch patch, fixing several progression-blocking quest bugs and a Pokedex error. The Pokemon Company previewed the fixes in advance, listing the six known issues on the official support website before the patch went live.
Improvements
Two quest-progression issues were addressed where players could accidentally place blocks over cracked sandstone, making it unclear how to advance:
Area | Request | Issue Fixed |
|---|---|---|
Rock Smash your way to treasure! | Placing blocks over cracked blocks near Hitmonchan made it unclear how to progress. The update now prevents block placement in the relevant area so the path forward is obvious. | |
To Snorlax! | Placing blocks over cracked blocks near Snorlax made it unclear how to progress. Similar to the Withered Wasteland fix, the patch restricts block placement to maintain quest clarity. |
Bug Fixes
Six bugs were fixed in this patch. If any of these issues were previously encountered, applying the update will automatically resolve them with no manual action needed.
Area | Request / Issue | Fix |
|---|---|---|
Help make a home! | Squirtle could climb on top of a tree and become impossible to talk to, blocking progress. The patch prevents Squirtle from reaching the inaccessible position. | |
Find the Pokemon Center! | Breaking bridge blocks before Professor Tangrowth crossed could prevent quest progression entirely. The update ensures the bridge state is preserved until Tangrowth has safely crossed. | |
Find the Pokemon Center! | Professor Tangrowth's bridge repair request could fail to trigger under certain action sequences. The patch corrects the event trigger logic so the request fires reliably. | |
DJ Rotom encounter | A specific sequence of actions could prevent the event where the player meets Rotom from occurring. The event trigger conditions have been broadened to avoid this. | |
Clear off the path! | The request could become uncompletable if triggered under certain conditions. The patch fixes the state check so the request can always be completed. | |
Pokedex | Spinarak type display | Spinarak's type was listed incorrectly in the Pokedex. The correct typing is now displayed. |
In addition to the six listed fixes, the official patch notes mention that various other minor bug fixes were included.
