Overview
Porygon-Z is a Normal-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Virtual Pokemon (Dex #220). An additional program was installed to create a more advanced Pokemon, but the program was apparently flawed, causing Porygon-Z to move oddly as a result. It is the final evolution of the Porygon family, following Porygon2. Porygon-Z carries the Rarify specialty, which converts Star Pieces into Rare Pokemetal.
Habitat
Porygon-Z can be found at one habitat.
Game Corner Battle Zone (#164)
Players sit side by side here to game against each other! Pokemon might come here to play.
Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Arcade Machine | 2 | Gaming equipment |
Seat (any) | 2 | Any seating furniture |
Porygon-Z is a Rare visitor at the Game Corner Battle Zone. Unlike many Pokemon, it is available during all times of day (Morning, Day, Evening, and Night) and in all weather conditions (Sunny, Cloudy, and Rainy).
How to Befriend
Build the Game Corner Battle Zone by placing two Arcade Machines and two seats of any kind near each other. Porygon-Z is a Rare visitor here, so it may take multiple visits before it shows up. Porygon-Z can appear at any time of day and in any weather, so check the habitat regularly. Walk up and interact with Porygon-Z when it appears to befriend it.
Specialties
Rarify
Porygon-Z has the Rarify specialty. Pokemon with the Rarify specialty can convert Star Pieces into Rare Pokemetal. Hand a Star Piece to Porygon-Z and it will process the material over a short period, returning Rare Pokemetal. Star Pieces are crafted at a Workbench by combining 100 Stardust, which can be gathered on Dream Islands. Rare Pokemetal is used in the 3D Printer to duplicate items and is also required in recipes for befriending certain Legendary Pokemon.

Evolution Family
Porygon-Z is the final stage of a three-member evolution family. In the main Pokemon series, Porygon (Dex #218) evolves into Porygon2 (Dex #219) when traded with an Up-Grade, and Porygon2 evolves into Porygon-Z when traded with a Dubious Disc. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so each member must be found at its own habitat. Porygon is found at the Researcher's Desk, Porygon2 at the Work Desk, and Porygon-Z at the Game Corner Battle Zone.
Tips
Porygon-Z is one of the harder Pokemon to find because of its Rare rarity. It can appear at any time of day and in any weather, so check the Game Corner Battle Zone habitat regularly.
The Rarify specialty is extremely valuable. Once you befriend Porygon-Z, feed it Star Pieces (crafted from 100 Stardust each) to obtain Rare Pokemetal, a key material for the 3D Printer and Legendary Pokemon recipes.
Arcade Machines may be required for other habitats as well, so building the Game Corner Battle Zone doubles as progress toward other tech-themed setups.
Keep the Game Corner Battle Zone in a bright area with colorful decorations to boost Porygon-Z's Comfort Level when it does appear.
