"Make Bread" is a request in Pokemon Pokopia given by Professor Tangrowth in Rocky Ridges. The quest involves finding Torkoal at the Hot Springs, building a bread oven, and baking bread. Eating the bread unlocks the Powered-Up Cut move, which is needed to progress further in Rocky Ridges.

Walkthrough
Step 1: Access the Hot Springs
Head west from the Pokemon Center in Rocky Ridges. Use Rock Smash on the rocks blocking the path to reach the Hot Springs area where Torkoal is located.
Step 2: Build a Mossy Hot Spring Habitat
Apply the Leafage move to the mossy tiles near the hot spring's edge to create a Mossy Hot Spring habitat. This attracts Torkoal to the area.
Step 3: Create a Safe Path for Torkoal
Torkoal needs a clear path from the Hot Springs back to the Pokemon Center. Build steps and remove obstacles along the route so Torkoal can walk safely without falling or getting stuck.
Step 4: Help Torkoal Along the Way
If Torkoal stops moving and appears fatigued, talk to it to encourage it to continue. Keep checking on Torkoal periodically until it reaches the Pokemon Center area.
Step 5: Build the Bread Oven
Gather the following materials and construct the bread oven:

Step 6: Bake Bread

Step 7: Eat Bread and Learn Powered-Up Cut
Consume the bread to learn the Powered-Up Cut move. This enhanced version of Cut can slice through tougher obstacles like thick fences and wooden barriers that regular Cut cannot handle.

Tips
Stock up on Wheat before starting this quest. Three Wheat crops are needed to bake the bread, and growing them takes time if you do not already have some harvested.
Volcanic Ash is found exclusively in the Hot Springs area. Look for the dark-colored blocks and break them with Rock Smash.
After learning Powered-Up Cut, head back to the area where Chef Dente is trapped in a barrel. Cut the rope to free him, which progresses the Rocky Ridges storyline significantly.
