Kirlia

Overview

Kirlia is a Psychic/Fairy-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Emotion Pokemon (Dex #232). It has a psychic power that enables it to distort the space around it and see into the future. Kirlia is the middle stage of a branching evolution family, evolving from Ralts and capable of evolving into either Gardevoir or Gallade in the main series. It carries the Teleport specialty, allowing it to transport you to another Pokemon's location.

Kirlia can be found at two habitats.

Study Area (#159)

Kirlia is a Rare visitor at the Study Area. Available during all times of day (Morning, Day, Evening, Night) and in all weather conditions (Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy). This habitat can be placed in any area. Ralts also appears here as a Common visitor.

Moisturizing Makeup Stand (#162)

Making sure your skin is moisturized will ensure your makeup comes out even more perfectly than usual!

Kirlia is a Common visitor at the Moisturizing Makeup Stand. Available during all times of day and in all weather conditions. Gardevoir also appears here as a Rare visitor.

How to Befriend

Kirlia has two habitat options. The Study Area is accessible earlier in the game since all its items are basic furniture, but Kirlia is only a Rare visitor there. The Moisturizing Makeup Stand makes Kirlia a Common visitor, but the Humidifier recipe requires registering 260 Pokemon in the Pokedex first. If you are early in the game, build the Study Area and be patient. Once you have progressed further, the Moisturizing Makeup Stand provides much better odds.

Specialties

Teleport

Kirlia has the Teleport specialty. If you speak to a Pokemon with the Teleport specialty while you are using the Pokedex to search for another Pokemon, they can take you directly to that Pokemon's location. This is the same specialty shared by its pre-evolution Ralts and its evolutions Gardevoir and Gallade.

Preferences

Kirlia prefers bright environments. Its preference list matches Ralts's exactly: strange and cute items, healing objects, watching-themed decorations, and symbols. Offering Sweet-flavored treats will raise its happiness.

Evolution Family

Kirlia is the middle stage of a branching evolution family. In the main Pokemon series, Ralts evolves into Kirlia at level 20. Kirlia then evolves into Gardevoir at level 30, or into Gallade when exposed to a Dawn Stone (male Kirlia only). In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so each family member must be found at its own habitat independently. Kirlia shares the Study Area with Ralts and the Moisturizing Makeup Stand with Gardevoir.

Tips

• If you want Kirlia as a Common visitor, aim for the Moisturizing Makeup Stand. You will need to register 260 Pokemon in the Pokedex to unlock the Humidifier recipe, but the Common rarity makes befriending Kirlia much easier.

• The Study Area doubles as a habitat for Ralts (Common), while the Moisturizing Makeup Stand also attracts Gardevoir (Rare). Building both habitats lets you work toward befriending three members of the evolution family.

• Kirlia's Teleport specialty is shared with all other members of its evolution family. If you already have a Ralts with Teleport, Kirlia's main advantage is being a stepping stone toward the Moisturizing Makeup Stand habitat where Gardevoir can also appear.

• Kirlia shares identical preferences with Ralts (Bright, Sweet, Strange, Cute, Healing, Watching, Symbols), so decorations placed for one will work for the other at the shared Study Area habitat.
