Overview
Your bag in Pokemon Pokopia has a limited number of item slots by default. As you progress through the game and accumulate materials, food, and crafting supplies, you will quickly run out of space. The primary way to expand your bag capacity is by purchasing Packing Tips from the Pokemon Center PC Shop using Life Coins. Additional Packing Tips unlock as you discover new areas.
Bag Upgrades
Packing Tips are purchased from the PC Shop at any Pokemon Center. Each upgrade either increases your item capacity or adds a quality-of-life feature:

More Packing Tips become available in the shop every time you discover a new area. If you only see the Rookie upgrade, continue progressing through the story and unlocking new regions.
How to Access the Shop
Go to any Pokemon Center and interact with the PC.
Select the Shop option from the PC menu.
Browse the Packing Tips section and purchase the upgrade you want.
How to Earn Life Coins
Life Coins are the currency used for all PC Shop purchases. You earn them by completing Challenges listed in the Pokemon Center PC. Challenges include tasks like building specific habitats, reaching comfort milestones, crafting items, and completing requests. As you increase your Environment Level, more Challenges and shop items unlock.
Storage Box Organization
Even with all bag upgrades purchased, you will still accumulate more items than you can carry. Use Storage Boxes to manage overflow:
Craft or purchase a Storage Box and place it in your base area.
Transfer unused materials, excess food, and items you are not currently using into the Storage Box to free up bag space.
Place the Storage Box near your crafting table. The crafting table can automatically pull materials from a nearby Storage Box, so you do not need to carry everything in your bag to craft.
Upgrade Priority
If you are short on Life Coins, here is the recommended purchase order:
Packing Tips: Rookie (300 Coins): Your first capacity increase. The extra 10 slots make a noticeable difference early on.
Packing Tips: Intermediate (500 Coins): Another 30 slots greatly reduces how often you need to visit Storage Boxes.
Handy Bag (500 Coins): The HUD overlay is convenient but not essential. Buy it once you have spare coins.
Packing Tips: Superior (1,000 Coins): The final capacity boost. Expensive, but worth saving for during mid-to-late game.
Tips
Buy Packing Tips: Rookie as soon as possible. It is cheap (300 Life Coins) and the extra 10 slots prevent constant inventory management early in the game.
Place a Storage Box next to your crafting table. The table pulls materials from the box automatically, saving you from carrying crafting supplies in your bag.
Complete Challenges regularly to earn Life Coins. Bag upgrades and other shop items require a steady coin income.
New Packing Tips unlock as you discover more areas. If you cannot find the next upgrade, continue progressing through the story.
Consider placing multiple Storage Boxes in different areas so you always have nearby storage when your bag fills up during exploration.
