Overview
Packing Tips books are key items in Pokemon Pokopia that permanently increase your carrying capacity. You start the game with 20 inventory slots, and purchasing all four Packing Tips upgrades expands your bag to a maximum of 120 slots. Each slot can hold up to 99 of a single item. All Packing Tips books are purchased from the PC Shop at Pokemon Centers using Life Coins.

New Packing Tips become available in the PC Shop as you discover new areas. You must travel to each area's Pokemon Center to purchase that tier's upgrade.
Handy Bag
In addition to Packing Tips, the Handy Bag is a separate key item that adds 10 quick-access slots which remain visible on screen at all times, even when the inventory is closed. The Handy Bag costs 500 Life Coins and unlocks at Withered Wasteland Environment Level 3.
Tips
Buy Packing Tips: Rookie as soon as possible. The 10 extra slots make a significant difference in the early game when you are collecting lots of materials.
Use Storage Boxes placed next to your Workbench. Materials in adjacent Storage Boxes are automatically accessible when crafting, reducing the need to carry everything.
Pokemon with the Storage specialty (Gulpin holds 30 items, Swalot holds 90) act as portable storage, supplementing your bag capacity.
