Overview
Maces are a type of one-handed weapon in Crimson Desert that specialize in delivering heavy blunt damage. Unlike slashing weapons such as swords, maces excel at breaking through heavy armor and inflicting stagger on armored opponents. They are a solid choice for players who want a weapon that punishes heavily defended enemies.
Maces can be paired with a shield for a classic defensive loadout, or dual-wielded alongside a faster weapon for a more aggressive approach. The weapon category includes everything from crude clubs to finely crafted instruments of war, spanning all grade tiers from Uncommon to Mythic.
There are currently 25 one-handed maces available in the game, each with its own lore, stats, and origins tied to the various factions and regions of Pywel.

Mace Combat Mechanics
Maces deal blunt damage, which is particularly effective against enemies wearing heavy armor. Where slashing and piercing weapons may have their damage reduced by plate armor, blunt weapons transfer force directly through the armor, making them the preferred choice for fighting armored knights and constructs.
The stagger potential of maces is generally higher than that of lighter one-handed weapons. Landing consecutive hits with a mace can stun enemies temporarily, creating openings for follow-up attacks or allowing Kliff to reposition safely.
Grade Tiers
Maces in Crimson Desert come in five grade tiers, each indicating the weapon's overall power level and rarity:

Rare | 2 | Mid-game areas and quest rewards |
Epic | 3 | Advanced merchants and dungeons |
Legendary | 4 | Rare drops and late-game content |
Mythic | 5 | End-game bosses and unique locations |
