Overview
The Acria Sword is a one-handed weapon in Crimson Desert with an Attack Power of 19 and a Critical Rate bonus at Level 2. These numbers put it among the strongest one-handed swords in the game, especially for builds that capitalize on frequent critical hits. The weapon also comes pre-loaded with three Abyss CoresGroundsurgeCritical Rate I, and Attack Speed I, giving it immediate combat value straight out of the chest.
Obtaining the Acria Sword requires solving a multi-step puzzle inside Stellen Manora location perched above Drake's Vault Gorge. The reward matches the effort. With 19 Attack, Level 2 Critical Rate, and three powerful pre-installed cores, this sword competes with late-game options while being accessible during the mid-game. Its sell price of 10.97 Silver Coins also reflects its high quality.

How to Obtain
The Acria Sword is found inside Stellen Manorhidden behind a secret room that requires solving a strongbox puzzle. The manor sits above Drake's Vault Gorge. To unlock the secret room, follow these steps:
1. Enter the manor through the middle window.
2. Open the large door in front of you. This triggers a mechanism that shifts the bookshelf.
3. Solve the strongbox puzzle lock using the sequence: bottom row positions 1, 3, 4, 2, 1, 3, 4.
4. Rotate the wardrobe wheel and retrieve the book from the lowered table.
5. Place the book on the bookshelf to open the secret door at the back of the room.
The Acria Sword waits inside the hidden room. The weapon cannot be purchased from merchants or crafted at a Blacksmith.
Refinement and Upgrades
The Acria Sword supports up to 10 levels of refinement at any Blacksmith. With 19 base Attack Power, each refinement level pushes the sword's damage output further into the top tier of one-handed weapons. The Level 2 Critical Rate bonus is preserved through refinement, so the sword only becomes more effective as you invest resources.
The three Abyss Core slots come pre-filled with Groundsurge, Critical Rate I, and Attack Speed I. Players can keep this configuration or swap cores at a Witch vendor. Since the sword already has a strong Critical Rate baseline, some players prefer replacing the Critical Rate I core with a raw damage or elemental core to diversify the stat spread.
Combat Tips
The Level 2 Critical Rate bonus means the Acria Sword lands critical hits more often than most one-handed weapons. Combine this with the pre-installed Attack Speed I core and each combat encounter turns into a flurry of fast, high-damage swings. The Groundsurge core adds an area-of-effect component, punishing enemies that cluster around Kliff.
For players who want to maximize the crit-focused design, stacking additional Critical Damage through armor or accessories amplifies each critical strike. The Acria Sword also pairs well with an aggressive dual-wield setup; its fast attack speed and high crit rate make it an excellent main-hand weapon alongside a heavier off-hand mace or axe for stagger potential.

Naming Note: Acria, Aquil, Aquilus
The sword appears under several spellings across the community: Acria Sword in official item-inventory textAquil Sword in some in-game voice lines, and Aquilus Sword in early video guides. All three refer to the same item and share the same model, stats, and drop location; the canonical wiki spelling used across the one-handed weapons listings is Acria.
Stellen Manor Walkthrough
Stellen Manor sits along a riverbank northeast of Hernand and southwest of Demeniss. The fastest approach is to fast-travel to the point just outside the leaf-shed house near Pailinthen ride north past the original Grey Rock Dock and the golden-apple hedgehog farm. Bring a mask before entering; everything inside the manor is stealing, so the crime meter will spike without a disguise. Masks can be bought from back-alley vendors or looted from bandit camps.
Entering the Manor
The guards at the front door will shove Kliff away on contact, so ignore the main entrance entirely. Walk to the right side of the building, find the window just above head height, and climb in. The window prompt is reachable without any jump boost; simply look up at it and interact to open the shutters and vault through. The guards treat the window as a blind spot and will not react even if the player lands right in front of them.
Strongbox Puzzle: Closet Key
After landing in the upstairs dining room, take the door on the left-hand side into a smaller chamber. A strongbox with a row of eight music keys sits against the wall. Inspecting it plays a looping melody, and players must replicate that melody by pressing the keys along the bottom row in order. Counting from the leftmost key as position 1, the solution is:
1, 3, 4, 2, 1, 3, 4
Pull up the lantern to light the interior, then open the strongbox and take the Stellen Manor Closet Key. Wait for the "Crime" indicator to clear off the screen before stepping back into the hallway; any NPC that spots the crime icon will call guards immediately.
Wardrobe Handwheel and the Book
Return to the master bedroom on the same floor and open the wardrobe with the new Closet Key. Inside is a handwheel on a spindle; interact with it and hold the spin to wind it all the way open. The wheel is stamina-gated, so topping off stamina first makes the turn smoother. As the wheel rotates, a hidden ceiling crate lowers on the opposite side of the room. On top of that crate is a single bookrelease the wheel, walk over, and pick it up.
Bookshelf and Cellar
Head downstairs and approach the large bookshelf facing the room. The interaction prompt appears on the upper-right shelf slot; place the book there to trigger the mechanism. The entire shelf swings open, revealing a narrow cellar passage behind a row of wine barrels. Squeeze past the barrels, drop down the short ladder, turn around, and the Acria Sword is mounted on a weapon rack on the far wall. Interact to loot it.
Dual-Wield Setup: Second Acria Sword
Crimson Desert normally does not let players dual-wield two copies of the same unique weapon, but the Acria Sword is one of the rare exceptions. A second identical Acria Sword exists in a completely separate dungeon, and looting both unlocks a dual-wield loadout with a distinctive spin-sheath animation every time the weapons are stored.
Equipping both swords at once yields a combined attack rating of roughly 30 attack with Level 2 night Critical Rate active from each blade. With three Abyss Core slots on each sword, that is six total core slots available to layer damage, speed, and elemental modifiers, making it one of the strongest symmetric dual-wield setups in the game.
Second Sword Location: Luxhord Valley Ruins
The second Acria Sword is hidden inside the Luxhord Valley Ruinslocated in the top-right quadrant of the world map between the "E" and the "R" of the on-screen "Crimson Desert" label. The ruins technically need to be liberated for a clean run, but quick players can sprint past the roaming bandits and funnel straight into the dungeon entrance if they prefer not to fight.
Luxhord Trap Gauntlet
The interior is a trap corridor rather than a combat arena. The ruins throw four distinct hazard types at Kliff in sequence:
Tripwire traps along the entrance ramp; roll through or stop and dismantle them before pressing forward.
Crossfire flame levera lever at the first junction opens the next door but also triggers alternating fire jets. Pull it, then roll through during the gap between flame cycles.
Poison chamberthe next room fills with toxic gas. Light the torch bracket on the wall to burn off the poison and reveal the stairs upward. If the torch is extinguished later, the exit door closes again, so re-light promptly if backtracking.
Saw blades and electric orbsthe upper corridor has swinging saw blades along the floor and swinging electrical ball pendulums on the right-hand wall. Time the dodges; getting clipped by an electric ball interrupts Kliff and drops stamina, which stacks with ongoing hazards.
At the end of the gauntlet is a final lever on a raised platform. Pulling it retracts a hidden wall segment and exposes the weapon rack holding the second Acria Sword. Loot it, then backtrack out (the traps remain armed, so return with the same caution).
Order of Pickup
Either sword can be picked up first. Most community guides grab the Stellen Manor sword first because the stealth puzzle is faster than the Luxhord trap gauntlet, then pick up the Luxhord copy once a second stamina bar or better poison resistance is available. Both copies are permanent, and neither pickup disables the other. The dual-wield layout only requires both copies to be in the inventory at the same time; the equip menu then allows them to be slotted as main hand and off hand.
Dual-Wield Playstyle Tips
Sheath animation: putting the swords away triggers a special spin-sheath flourish. It looks excellent but takes longer than a standard sheath, so avoid mashing the weapon-swap button mid-combat or the animation can eat recovery frames.
Stacking Critical Rate: both copies carry Level 2 night Critical Rate natively, which stacks favorably with GroundsurgeAttack Speedand raw Critical Damage cores for a crit-centric build.
Refinement synergy: refining both swords to +5 or +10 doubles the damage return on every investment compared to a single-sword build. Budget refinement materials with this in mind.
Alternate pairing: players who prefer asymmetric dual-wield can keep one Acria Sword in the main hand and pair it with a heavier off-hand mace or axe for extra stagger potential. The crit-heavy Acria main hand still carries the damage output even without a second copy in the off hand.
Abyss Core rotation: with six total core slots, players typically run three offense cores (damage, crit rate, attack speed) and three utility or conditional cores (elemental, survival, or stagger-focused) across the pair.
Common Pitfalls
Forgetting the mask at Stellen Manor. Entering without a disguise spikes the crime meter on the first theft and draws an entire wave of guards.
Trying to force the front door at Stellen Manor. The guards do not let the front entry work, even fully masked; always use the right-side window.
Missing the flame-timing at Luxhord. The alternating fire jets have a narrow gap; panic-rolling through the wrong cycle deals heavy burn damage.
Letting the Luxhord torch go out before crossing the poison room. If the torch is extinguished by an enemy or a trap, the path forward closes until it is re-lit.
Selling either sword by accident. Both copies are required for dual-wield; check the inventory lock flag before visiting a merchant after either pickup.
