The Spada Sword is a unique one-handed sword in Crimson Desert. It is one of the strongest one-handed swords available, boasting 30 Attack and Level 2 Attack Speed. Visually, the Spada Sword is widely considered one of the best-looking swords in the game, with an ornate design that stands out among other blades.
The weapon is found inside the Flame Knight's Castle on a weapon rack after clearing the area during Chapter 7 of the main story. Unlike some unique weapons, the Spada Sword does not come with preset Abyss Cores, so players will need to customize it at a Blacksmith to unlock its full potential.
Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
Weapon Type | |
Attack | 30 |
Attack Speed | Lv. 2 |
Tier | T1 |
Abyss Cores | None (requires customization) |
With 30 Attack, the Spada Sword is tied for the highest base Attack among one-handed swords. Its Level 2 Attack Speed provides a good balance between damage per swing and combo fluidity, making it effective in both one-on-one duels and group fights.
The Spada Sword is located inside the Flame Knight's Castle, which is situated on the west side of Demeniss. To access the castle and find the sword, players must progress through the main story until Chapter 7 and complete the quest "Letter of Silence." This quest sends you to confront Tristan, the Flame Knight, the boss of the castle.
After defeating Tristan, do not leave the castle immediately. A new objective will appear directing you to retrieve the Flame Knight's gear. In the area with the target dummies, look for a weapon rack in the middle of the room. The Spada Sword is displayed on this rack and can be picked up freely. The weapon rack locations are marked with small dots on the mini map once the castle has been cleared.
Defeating Tristan and exploring the Flame Knight's Castle yields several valuable items in addition to the Spada Sword. Make sure to search the entire castle after the boss fight before leaving.
Item | Type | Location in Castle |
|---|---|---|
Shield | Behind boxes on the wall section, reached by climbing up | |
Scorchflame Plate Gloves | Armor | Found during exploration after the boss fight |
Seal of Devotion | Accessory | Reward from clearing the castle |
The Spada Sword is notable among unique weapons for not having any preset Abyss Cores. While this means it lacks a built-in special ability right out of the box, it also gives players complete freedom to customize the weapon to fit their preferred playstyle. Visit a Blacksmith to slot Abyss Cores and tailor the sword's bonus effects.
Common Abyss Core choices for one-handed swords include Wind Slash for a ranged wave attack, Gale for increased attack speed, and Destruction for raw damage amplification. Experiment with different combinations to find what suits your combat style best.
The Flame Knight boss requires story progression to spawn. You cannot access the castle or obtain the Spada Sword before reaching Chapter 7.
After the boss fight, take time to thoroughly explore the castle. The weapon racks and chests containing rewards are spread across the area and are easy to miss if you rush to the next objective.
Because the Spada Sword has no built-in Abyss Cores, its effectiveness depends heavily on the cores you choose to install. Prioritize visiting a Blacksmith shortly after acquiring it.
Pair the Spada Sword with a shield for a balanced offense-and-defense playstyle. The Drake Shield, found in the same castle, is a natural companion piece.
