Overview
The Boar is a wild pig species found throughout the continent of Pywel in Crimson Desert. Recognizable by its long, curved tusks, the Boar uses these natural weapons in contests of strength against rivals. Boars are one of the most commonly hunted large animals in the game, providing valuable crafting resources when skinned. They inhabit forests and woodlands across most of Pywel, with the notable exception of the arid Crimson Desert region to the north.
Location and Habitat
Boars can be found throughout Pywel except in the Crimson Desert region. They are most commonly encountered in wooded areas, forests, and areas with dense undergrowth. In the Hernand region, boars frequently appear in the forests surrounding settlements. They tend to roam in small groups and can be spotted by the sounds of their grunting and rooting.
Hunting Drops
Boars are classified as large, heavy animals for hunting purposes. Killing and skinning a boar yields several types of crafting resources:

Large Bone is a particularly valuable material used in various crafting recipes and equipment upgrades. Boars are one of the most accessible sources of Large Bone in the early game, especially in the forests near Hernand.
Behavior
Boars are generally non-aggressive toward players unless provoked. Once attacked, they will fight back with charging attacks using their tusks. Their thick hide and solid build make them somewhat tanky compared to smaller animals like deer or goats. Approach them carefully and use a bow for a clean first strike from range before finishing them in melee.
