Tinkatink

Overview

Tinkatink is a Fairy/Steel-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Metalsmith Pokemon (Dex #268). It swings its handmade hammer around to protect itself, but the hammer is often stolen by Pokemon that eat metal. Tinkatink is the first stage of a three-stage evolutionary line that includes Tinkatuff and Tinkaton. It carries the Build specialty, allowing it to help construct furniture and structures on your island.

Habitats

Tinkatink can be found at three different habitats, making it one of the more accessible Pokemon in Pokopia.

Large Luggage Carrier (#028)

This long, wide cart can fit two large crates.

Tinkatink is a Common visitor at the Large Luggage Carrier. It shares this habitat with Gurdurr (Common) and Tinkatuff (Rare). This is one of the simpler habitats to build, requiring only two items.

Oversized Dumping Ground (#154)

A dumping ground where you can even throw away large items. Unwanted appliances can go here!

Tinkatink is a Common visitor at the Oversized Dumping Ground. It shares this habitat with Tinkaton (Common). Building this habitat lets you access both the first and final stages of the Tinkaton line from a single location.

Sewer-hole Inspection (#156)

Looks like repairs are being carried out here. Only workers are allowed in, no exceptions!

Tinkatink also visits the Sewer-hole Inspection habitat. It shares this location with Tinkatuff, Poliwrath, and Corviknight.

How to Befriend

The easiest way to befriend Tinkatink is through the Large Luggage Carrier, which only requires a Cart and a Wooden Crate. Tinkatink is a Common visitor there, so it should appear quickly. The Oversized Dumping Ground is another good option since Tinkatink is Common there too, and you can also find Tinkaton at the same habitat. Walk up and interact with Tinkatink when it appears to befriend it.

Build

Tinkatink has the Build specialty. Pokemon with the Build specialty can assist in constructing furniture, structures, and other buildable objects on your island. Assign Tinkatink to a construction project and it will help speed up the building process. This is particularly useful when you need to set up new habitats or craft large furniture pieces.

Preferences

Tinkatink prefers bright environments. Place cute decorations, metal items, and construction-themed objects near its habitats to boost its Comfort Level. Its taste for Sweet-flavored foods means sugary treats and sweet berries will keep it happy.

Related Pokemon

Tinkatink is the first stage of the Tinkaton evolution family. In the main series, Tinkatink evolves into Tinkatuff at level 24, and Tinkatuff evolves into Tinkaton at level 38. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so each must be found at its own habitat independently. All three members share the Fairy/Steel typing and have construction-related specialties. Tinkatink and Tinkatuff both have the Build specialty, while Tinkaton upgrades to the Engineer specialty.
