Overview
Cinderace is a Fire-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Striker Pokemon (Dex #190). It juggles a pebble with its feet, turning it into a burning soccer ball. Its shots strike opponents hard and leave them scorched. Cinderace is the final evolution of the Scorbunny family, following Raboot. It carries the Burn and Hype specialties, making it a dual-purpose worker.
Habitats
Cinderace can be found at two habitats, though it is rare at both locations.
Red Tall Grass (#098)
A small plot made up of four tufts of red tall grass. Spots like this are often found in valleys.
Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Red Tall Grass | 4 | Red-colored tall grass patches |
Cinderace appears as a Very Rare visitor at this habitat. It is available during Morning, Day, Evening, and Night hours in Sunny weather. Other visitors include Scorbunny (Common), Riolu (Common), Kricketot (Common), and Kricketune (Rare).
Refreshing Locker Room (#130)
Even a simple locker room can have a refreshing atmosphere with the addition of a houseplant or two.
Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Office Locker | 2 | Standard locker furniture |
Potted Plant (any) | 1 | Any potted plant type works |
Seat (wide) | 1 | A wide seating option |
Punching Game | 1 | An arcade-style punching machine |
Cinderace appears as a Rare visitor at this habitat. It is available during Morning, Day, Evening, and Night hours in Sunny, Cloudy, and Rainy weather. Raboot (Common) also visits this habitat.
How to Befriend
Cinderace is difficult to find due to its rarity. At the Red Tall Grass habitat it is Very Rare, while at the Refreshing Locker Room it appears as Rare. The Refreshing Locker Room gives better odds and has broader weather availability (all weather vs. Sunny only). Build that habitat by placing two Office Lockers, one Potted Plant, one wide Seat, and one Punching Game near each other. Check back regularly and interact with Cinderace when it appears.
Specialties
Burn
The Burn specialty allows Cinderace to set fire to flammable objects. All three members of the Scorbunny family share this ability, but Cinderace brings an extra specialty on top of it.
Hype
The Hype specialty causes Cinderace to start dancing when it hears music, improving the mood of nearby Pokemon. This makes Cinderace a support Pokemon in addition to a fire worker. Station it near music-producing items and other working Pokemon to boost their productivity and happiness.

Related Pokemon
Cinderace is the final stage of the Scorbunny (Dex #188) family. It evolves from Raboot (Dex #189) in the main Pokemon series at Level 35. In Pokopia, each member must be found independently. Cinderace shares the Red Tall Grass habitat with Scorbunny and the Refreshing Locker Room with Raboot, so each habitat connects it to a different family member.
Tips
The Refreshing Locker Room is your best bet for finding Cinderace. It has Rare rarity there (better than Very Rare at Red Tall Grass) and appears in all weather conditions.
Cinderace is the only member of the Scorbunny family with the Hype specialty. If you need both Burn and Hype from a single Pokemon, Cinderace is the one to target.
Building both the Red Tall Grass and Refreshing Locker Room habitats gives you two chances to encounter Cinderace. Keep both active.
Cinderace prefers spicy food, which is different from Scorbunny and Raboot who prefer dry food. Keep spicy food on hand when trying to befriend or boost Cinderace's comfort.
