Overview

Fortune I is a standard passive Abyss Core in Crimson Desert. Silver is the primary currency in Crimson Desert, used for purchasing equipment, creating Abyss Gear sockets, buying consumables, and funding bank investments. With Fortune I equipped, enemies drop more silver on defeat and other silver sources yield slightly higher amounts.
Silver expenditures scale significantly as you progress through the game. Creating additional Abyss Gear sockets on weapons costs progressively more silver (up to 105 silver for the maximum five sockets on a single weapon), and purchasing high-end equipment from merchants can be expensive. Fortune I helps offset these costs by passively increasing your income from normal gameplay activities.
The effect is always active as long as the core remains socketed in an armor piece. It applies to silver dropped by enemies, silver earned from completing certain quests, and silver gained from selling items to merchants. The Lv 1 bonus is moderate but adds up over extended play sessions, particularly during farming runs against large groups of enemies.

How to Obtain
Purchased from Witch merchants at camps and settlements. Can also be found in supply chests in merchant districts and trade-route areas.
Standard Abyss Cores like Fortune I can be acquired from Witches who serve as merchants at various camps and settlements across the world. Check with any Witch merchant when you visit a new area, as their inventory may include this core.
Usage and Strategy
Socket Fortune I into any compatible equipment piece (Armor) to gain its Silver Acquisition Lv 1 bonus. The effect is always active as long as the core remains socketed and the equipment is worn.
Tips
Socket Fortune I when farming silver through enemy encounters. The bonus compounds across dozens of kills per session.
Especially useful when saving up for expensive socket creation or high-tier equipment purchases.
The silver boost applies to all acquisition sources, including enemy drops, quest rewards, and merchant transactions.
Swap out for a combat core before boss fights where maximizing damage or defense matters more than silver income.
Pairs well with areas that have high enemy density, where you can defeat many foes quickly and benefit from the increased drop amounts on each kill.
