The Colorblind Mode is an accessibility option added in Patch 1.04.00 under Settings > Accessibility. It re-tunes the in-game color palette so that combat indicators, map markers, and UI elements remain distinguishable across different forms of color vision deficiency. The option ships alongside other accessibility additions in the same patch including Chromatic Aberration and Photosensitive Mode.
What It Affects
Hit confirmation flashes. The standard red hit flash is shifted to a more contrast-stable hue depending on the selected mode.
Element and status icons. Buff, debuff, and elemental status colors are repalette to pair-distinct shades.
Map markers and minimap colors. Faction quest icons, fast travel points, and the new map-marker custom color picker draw from a palette tuned for the selected mode.
Damage type colorings. Element-specific damage flash colors carry through the new palette.
How to Enable
Open Settings, navigate to Accessibility, and select Colorblind Mode. The mode toggle is independent of the chromatic aberration and photosensitive options, so each can be turned on without forcing the others.
