The Auto-Repeat Dispatch feature is a Dispatch Missions UI change introduced in Patch 1.04.00. The Greymane Camp dispatch board now uses separate buttons for one-shot send and auto-repeat, so default-resource missions can be set to renew automatically without further input while special-reward dispatches remain one-shot by design. The Pearl Abyss patch notes confirm the split into two buttons; specific bindings and edge-case behaviors below are sourced from community testing and are flagged accordingly.
Quick Information
Property | Value |
|---|---|
Patch added | |
Location | Greymane Camp Dispatch board |
Inputs | Two distinct buttons at the dispatch UI (one-shot vs auto-repeat). Specific glyphs reported by community testing as Square / F (controller / keyboard) for one-shot and Triangle / G for auto-repeat; verify in-game. |
Auto-repeat eligible | Default-resource missions: Camp Food, Camp Funds, and other repeatable resource dispatches. |
Auto-repeat ineligible | Special-reward missions: dispatches that pay out an Abyss Artifacts or other rare item remain one-shot. |
How It Works
Open the Dispatch board at the camp.
Pick a mission and assign the team as before.
Choose one-shot or auto-repeat using the two newly separated inputs.
Auto-repeat missions tick in the background. The mission renews on completion without further input from the player, which is especially useful for default-resource generation while focusing on combat or exploration.
Special-reward dispatches expire after two or three in-game days if not actioned. They cannot be set to auto-repeat by design; the rare drops on those runs are gated behind manual sends.
Beer Multiplier (Community-Reported)
Community testing since Patch 1.04.00 reports that the double-reward Beer multiplier still applies to the first manual dispatch but does not currently apply to subsequent auto-repeat runs. This is not listed in the official Pearl Abyss patch notes for 1.04.00, 1.04.01, or Patch 1.04.02, so the behavior is not yet officially confirmed as a bug or as intended design. Until Pearl Abyss clarifies, players who want every Beer-buffed run to count the multiplier should keep dispatching manually for those missions and reserve auto-repeat for the unbuffed default-resource sends.
Why It Matters
Cuts repetitive UI input. Default-resource missions that previously needed a manual re-send every cycle now run hands-free.
Keeps rare drops gated behind attention. Special-reward dispatches still require the player to engage the mission flow each time, which preserves the cadence the launch-era system was tuned around.
Pairs with the Specialized Storage rework. Auto-repeating Camp Food and Camp Funds dispatches feed the new Sturdy Gatherables Chest and food coolers without the player intervening, which makes long crafting runs more affordable.
