Hard Grog

Hard Grog is the damage-resistance member of the Windrose grog family, a Rare drink crafted at the Alchemy Table that layers on top of food buffs. It is the go-to grog for outnumbered naval engagements and for boarding scenarios where soaking incoming damage matters more than pushing raw dps.

Brandy is the bottleneck: it is an Epic-rarity resource tied to late-game trading and rare merchant stock. Lime is a Common food item farmable at any farm plot and sold in every port. Rum Bottle comes from Grenadiers, Supply Caches, and Tortuga merchants.

When To Use

• Outnumbered naval fight: 1v2 or 1v3 where survival matters more than outgoing damage

• Boarding a Brig or Frigate: when soaking the defender's opening volleys is the limiting factor

• Cursed Swamps clears: multi-wave rooms where you cannot dodge everything and need the damage-resistance cushion
