Overview
Partitions are tall furniture items in Pokemon Pokopia used to divide interior spaces within houses. They function as room dividers, letting you create separate areas within a single building without constructing additional walls. Partitions are also required components for certain habitats.
All Partition Types
Partition | Materials | How to Obtain | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
House Partition | Twine x1 | Crafted at Workbench; also available from PC Shop in Withered Wasteland at Level 4 | Simple fabric divider; paintable |
Wooden Partition | Lumber x2 | Crafted at Workbench (recipe unlocked at 75 Pokedex registrations); also found in Sparkling Skylands | Solid wooden screen; paintable |

Both partition types can be recolored using Smearguru's Paint specialty to match your interior design.
Uses
Room Dividers
Place partitions inside houses to create distinct zones. This is purely aesthetic and does not affect the building's functionality or the number of Pokemon that can live there. Partitions are especially useful in larger houses (Cottages and Houses) where the open floor plan benefits from visual separation.
Habitat Component
Partitions are required for specific habitats. The Private Makeup Stand habitat, which attracts Minccino and Cinccino, requires a partition alongside a dresser and closet.
Comfort Contribution
Like other furniture, partitions contribute to a Pokemon's Comfort Level when placed inside its house. The contribution is modest compared to beds and seats, but every piece of furniture helps.
Tips
The House Partition costs only 1 Twine, making it the cheapest room divider. Use it early on when materials are scarce.
The Wooden Partition requires 75 Pokedex registrations to unlock its crafting recipe. Focus on befriending Pokemon to reach this milestone.
Place partitions strategically to create cozy reading nooks, sleeping areas, or kitchen spaces within large houses.
Partitions do not block Pokemon movement. Pokemon walk through them freely.
