Mismagius

Overview

Mismagius is a Ghost-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Magical Pokemon (Dex #228). Its cries sound like incantations to torment the foe, and it appears where you least expect it. Mismagius is the evolved form of Misdreavus in the main series. It carries two specialties: Gather and Trade, making it useful for both collecting materials from the ground and exchanging items at a cash register.

Habitat

Mismagius can be found at three habitats. It is generally rarer than its pre-evolution Misdreavus, and only appears at Night.

Fluffy Flower Bed (#142)

Mismagius is a Very Rare visitor at the Fluffy Flower Bed. It only appears at Night. Available in all weather conditions (Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy). This habitat can be placed in any area. Other Pokemon at this habitat include Vulpix (Common), Misdreavus (Common), Rookidee (Common), and Ninetales (Rare).

Home Theater (#158)

Some big speakers and a TV make this space feel just like a movie theater.

Mismagius is a Rare visitor at the Home Theater. It only appears at Night. Available in all weather conditions. This habitat can be placed in any area.

Office Storeroom (#167)

Packed with old documents and unused equipment. Lost Pokemon sometimes wander inside.

Mismagius is a Rare visitor at the Office Storeroom. It only appears at Night. Available in all weather conditions. This habitat can be placed in any area. Other Pokemon at this habitat include Misdreavus (Common), Drakloak (Common), and Dragapult (Rare).

How to Befriend

Mismagius is more elusive than Misdreavus, appearing at Rare or Very Rare rarity across all three of its habitats. The Home Theater and Office Storeroom offer better odds (Rare) compared to the Fluffy Flower Bed (Very Rare). Building multiple habitats increases your chances of encountering it. Remember that Mismagius only shows up at Night, so plan accordingly. Walk up and interact with it when it appears to befriend it.

Specialties

Gather

Mismagius has the Gather specialty. Pokemon with the Gather specialty will pick up materials and other items they find on the ground and place them in a community box. They can also take materials out to process them in structures like the smelting furnace.

Trade

Mismagius also has the Trade specialty. Pokemon with this specialty can exchange items with you at a cash register. Place a cash register near Mismagius's habitat, and it will staff the register to offer item trades.

Preferences

Mismagius prefers dark environments. Place spooky decorations, strange objects, noisy items, and wobbly furniture near its habitat to raise its Comfort Level. Unlike Misdreavus, Mismagius favors Bitter flavors rather than Dry.

Evolution Family

Mismagius is the evolved form of Misdreavus in the main Pokemon series, evolving via a Dusk Stone. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so each member must be found at its own habitat independently. Both Misdreavus and Mismagius share the Fluffy Flower Bed and Office Storeroom habitats, with Misdreavus being the more common visitor at both. Mismagius also has an additional habitat, the Home Theater, that Misdreavus does not appear at.

Tips

• The Home Theater and Office Storeroom give you a Rare chance at Mismagius, while the Fluffy Flower Bed offers only a Very Rare chance. Focus on building the first two habitats for better odds.

• Mismagius's dual Gather and Trade specialties make it one of the more versatile Ghost-type Pokemon in Pokopia. It can collect materials and run a shop at the same time.

• Since both Mismagius and Misdreavus only appear at Night, you can build the Fluffy Flower Bed or Office Storeroom to have a chance at encountering both family members during the same night.

• If you are looking for a Pokemon with the Gather specialty that works at night, Mismagius is an excellent choice since many other Gather-specialty Pokemon are daytime visitors.
