Overview
Small Log is a raw material in Pokemon Pokopia obtained by cutting down worn lumber or trees. It is the unprocessed form of wood that must be refined into Lumber by a Pokemon with the Chop specialty before it can be used in most advanced crafting recipes. Small Logs are a critical material in the wood processing chain.
How to Obtain
Method | Details |
|---|---|
Cutting Trees | Use Cut on worn lumber or standing trees to chop them into Small Logs |
Haxorus Drops | Dropped by Haxorus in its habitat |
Trees and worn lumber are found across all regions. Forested sections of each area are the best places to gather Small Logs. Trees do regrow over time, so you can revisit the same areas for repeated harvesting.
Processing Into Lumber
Small Logs cannot be used directly in most advanced recipes. Instead, they must be processed into Lumber by a Pokemon with the Chop specialty. Scyther is the most common Chop-specialty Pokemon, but several others share this ability. Place Small Logs near a Chop-specialty Pokemon and it will process them into Lumber over time.

Tips
Keep a steady supply of Small Logs being processed at all times. Lumber is one of the most frequently used crafting materials, so bottlenecks here slow down your building progress. Befriend multiple Chop-specialty Pokemon to increase processing throughput. Haxorus as a Litter-drop source provides a passive supply of Small Logs without manual tree chopping.
