Magby is a Fire-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Live Coal Pokemon (Dex #162). Each and every time it inhales and exhales, sparks leak from its mouth and nostrils. Magby is the first stage of a three-member family that includes Magmar and Magmortar. It carries the Burn specialty, which lets it process materials using fire.

Related Pokemon
Magby belongs to a three-stage family alongside Magmar (Dex #163) and Magmortar (Dex #164). In the main Pokemon series, Magby evolves into Magmar at level 30, and Magmar evolves into Magmortar when traded holding a Magmarizer. In Pokopia, all three share the Burn specialty.
