Overview
Machamp is a Fighting-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Superpower Pokemon (Dex #158). It can lift heavy loads with the greatest of ease, even hefting dump trucks, but its clumsy fingers prevent it from doing any precision work. Machamp is the final stage of the Machop family, which also includes Machoke. It carries both the Gather and Build specialties, making it one of the most productive Pokemon for island development.
Habitats
Machamp can be found at two habitats, both focused on physical labor and construction themes. Machamp is a Rare visitor at both habitats, so patience is required.
Grassy Training Field (#103)
The bags of dirt can be used as dumbbells. Perfect for Pokemon who love to train!

Clink-clang Iron Construction (#117)
It looks like construction is underway. Some strong Pokemon might show up to help.

Machamp is a Rare visitor at this habitat as well. It is available during all times of day and in all weather conditions. Steelix also appears here as a Common visitor.
How to Befriend
Build either the Grassy Training Field or the Clink-clang Iron Construction habitat. Since Machamp is Rare at both, be prepared to wait and check the habitats regularly. The Grassy Training Field requires fewer materials (Sandbags and Red Tall Grass), making it the easier option to set up quickly.
Specialties
Gather
Machamp has the Gather specialty. Pokemon with the Gather specialty collect raw materials from the environment and bring them to storage areas. Machamp can harvest wood, stone, fiber, and other natural resources, stocking your storage chests automatically.
Build
Machamp also has the Build specialty. Pokemon with the Build specialty help construct furniture, structures, and other craftable items at workbenches. This dual-specialty combination of Gather and Build means Machamp can both collect raw materials and then use them to build things, making it a self-sufficient workhorse for your island.

Related Pokemon
Machamp is the final stage of a three-member family that includes Machop (Dex #156) and Machoke (Dex #157). In the main Pokemon series, Machoke evolves into Machamp through trade. In Pokopia, all three share the Gather and Build specialties and similar exercise-themed preferences. Machoke appears at the Grassy Training Field alongside Machamp as a Common visitor.
Tips
Machamp is one of the most valuable Pokemon for island productivity thanks to its Gather and Build dual specialties. It can collect resources and construct items without needing another Pokemon to assist.
The Grassy Training Field is the easier habitat to construct since it only requires Sandbags and Red Tall Grass. Build it first to start hunting for Machamp.
While waiting for Machamp (Rare), you can befriend Machoke at the Grassy Training Field since it appears as a Common visitor with the same specialties.
Other Fighting-type Pokemon with similar preferences include Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, and Conkeldurr.
