Overview
Leafeon is a Grass-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Verdant Pokemon (Dex #286). Leafeon is one of eight Eeveelutions available in the game, representing the Grass-type branch of the Eevee family. It carries the Grow specialty, which lets it speed up the growth of flowers, trees, plants, and crops across your island.
Unlike the main series where Eevee evolves through specific conditions, Pokopia does not feature any evolution mechanic. Leafeon is its own distinct Pokedex entry with its own habitat recipe. To befriend Leafeon, players must complete a Special Challenge in Palette Town and build its unique habitat.

Leafeon is a Common visitor at the Leafy Green Sandwich habitat. This habitat follows the standard Eeveelution habitat pattern: one seat, one table, and one unique food item. The Sandwiches food item is the key ingredient and must be unlocked through a Special Challenge before the habitat can be built.
How to Unlock
To unlock the Sandwiches food item needed for Leafeon's habitat, you must complete the "Grow lots of veggies at once!" Special Challenge in Palette Town. This challenge requires you to grow and harvest 50 vegetables all at the same time. They do not need to be different types of vegetables; you just need 50 total growing simultaneously.
The best approach is to stockpile vegetable seeds before attempting this challenge rather than planting in small batches during normal progression. Rain and planting crops near water sources can make vegetation growth faster. Once you have enough seeds, plant all 50 at once and wait for them to mature. After harvesting, the Sandwiches recipe unlocks permanently.
This challenge becomes available after visiting all four main story towns and unlocking Palette Town.
How to Befriend
After unlocking the Sandwiches food item, build the Leafy Green Sandwich habitat by placing one Seat, one Table, and Sandwiches near each other in Palette Town. Leafeon is a Common visitor, so it should appear relatively quickly. Walk up and interact with it to befriend it.

Leafeon has the Grow specialty. Pokemon with the Grow specialty can make flowers, trees, plants, and crops grow faster. This is one of the most useful utility specialties in the game, since it cuts down farming wait times significantly. Place Leafeon near your gardens and crop fields to accelerate plant growth across your island.

Tips
The Grow specialty is extremely valuable for farming. If you are spending a lot of time growing crops, Leafeon should be one of the first Eeveelutions you aim to befriend.
Stockpile vegetable seeds from other towns before attempting the 50-vegetable challenge. Trying to gather all 50 seeds in Palette Town alone is much slower.
Planting near water sources and during rainy weather can speed up crop growth, making the challenge easier to complete.
Leafeon's preference for "Lots of nature" and "Pretty flowers" means it pairs well with garden-themed island decorations. Placing nature items near its habitat will keep its Comfort Level high.
Since Leafeon also appears on Cloud Island, you can encounter it there as well once its habitat conditions are met.
