"Befriend Ludicolo" is a request in Pokemon Pokopia given by DJ Rotom as part of the Time to Party! Important Request in Rocky Ridges. DJ Rotom asks you to find and befriend Ludicolo, a Pokemon with the Hype specialty that can boost the mood of all nearby Pokemon by dancing when music is playing. Walkthrough
Step 1: Head to Water
Go to the crop area southwest of the Pokemon Center in Rocky Ridges. Find a body of water with enough space to place four Duckweed patches side by side.
Step 2: Create Duckweed
Use your Powered-Up Leafage move on the water's surface to pull out Duckweed. Create four pieces of Duckweed and place them next to each other on the water.
Step 3: Wait for Ludicolo
Once four Duckweed patches are placed on the water, the Uplifting Duckweed habitat is created. Ludicolo typically appears shortly after the habitat forms. It should not take long at all for Ludicolo to show up.
Step 4: Befriend and Bring to Party
Speak to Ludicolo to befriend it. Then have Ludicolo follow you by talking to it or pressing up on the directional pad. Lead Ludicolo to the party area where DJ Rotom is located. DJ Rotom's request will be marked complete, and the party's mood receives a significant boost.

Tips
You need Powered-Up Leafage to create Duckweed. If you have not completed the Make a Salad request yet, do that first.
Make sure you eat a Salad before attempting to use Powered-Up Leafage, as the buff needs to be active.
Ludicolo also has the Water specialty and can use a full water basin to spray water on nearby fields and plants.
Bringing Ludicolo to the party area is one of the most impactful mood-boosting actions available.
