Overview
The Warren Bounty is a faction quest for House Celeste in Crimson Desert. Warren is a wanted outlaw hiding in the southern part of Pororin within the Deepwoods region, far south of the Hernand map. At 25 Silver for a live capture, Warren is the highest-paying bounty among all House Celeste bounties, making it one of the most lucrative faction quests available in the Hernand area.
This bounty becomes available upon reaching Chapter 2: Golden Greed. Bounty posters for Warren can be found on notice boards and street poles throughout the City of Hernand. Look for the purple poster icon on your minimap to locate available bounty notices.
Warren is one of the more complex bounties because reaching his location requires completing a prerequisite quest, The Unreachable Village, which grants safe passage through the Shai-controlled Pororin Forest. Without completing this quest first, the Shai residents will tranquilize you with sleep darts before you can reach Warren.

Prerequisites
The Unreachable Village Quest
Before you can reach Warren, you must complete The Unreachable Village quest. This is the most common reason players report Warren not spawning; they have not yet gained authorized access to the Pororin area.
The quest triggers when you first attempt to enter the Shai-controlled forest south of Hernand. On your first two attempts, the Shai children will dart you with sleep darts and you will wake up near the Outcast's Hearth camp on the outskirts. On the third attempt, a scripted event occurs and a Shai girl named Arkin appears nearby. Speaking with Arkin officially starts The Unreachable Village quest.
Arkin asks you to retrieve the Relic of Pororin (the village chief's hat), which was stolen by a giant Ent, a massive walking tree creature. You must climb the Ent's legs, rest on its raised limbs to restore stamina, then continue climbing up to the head to grab the relic. After retrieving it, jump down and speak with Arkin on a nearby cliff to complete the quest. Arkin then grants you permanent safe passage into Pororin village and the surrounding Deepwoods area.

Walkthrough
Accepting the Bounty
Bounty posters appear on notice boards and poles throughout the City of Hernand starting in Chapter 2. On the minimap, bounty posters are marked with a purple letter icon. Interact with a Warren poster to read the notice and add the quest to your journal. You can track the quest under the House Celeste faction tab in your journal, which will place a tracking marker on the world map showing Warren's approximate location in the Deepwoods.
Traveling to Pororin
Warren's marked location is in the southern section of Pororin, deep within the Deepwoods region south of Hernand. If you have not yet completed The Unreachable Village quest, the Shai patrols guarding the forest will knock you unconscious with sleep darts before you can reach Warren. See the Prerequisites section above for how to complete the access quest.
Once you have permanent access to Pororin, ride your horse south from Hernand into the Deepwoods. Follow the quest marker to Warren's position in the southern part of the Pororin area.
Warren Not Spawning (Fix)
Many players arrive at Warren's marked location only to find he is not there. This is one of the most commonly reported issues with this bounty. There are several potential causes and fixes:
Cause | Fix |
|---|---|
The Unreachable Village quest incomplete | Complete The Unreachable Village quest first. This is the most common reason Warren does not appear. |
Time-of-day restriction | Warren may only appear during a specific in-game time window. Rest at a nearby bonfire or use the camp menu to skip time to morning, then return to the area. |
Area not loaded properly | Fast travel away from the Deepwoods and then travel back. This forces the area to reload and can trigger Warren's spawn. |
Standing too close to spawn point | Move away from Warren's marked location, wait briefly, then approach again. Being too close to the spawn point can sometimes prevent targets from appearing. |
Bounty not tracked in journal | Open your journal, find the Warren bounty under the House Celeste faction tab, and make sure it is set as tracked. The shield icon on the map should appear at his location. |
If none of these fixes work, try restarting the game entirely. In most cases, completing The Unreachable Village quest resolves the issue.
Capturing Warren Alive
Capturing Warren alive yields double the Silver reward compared to killing him, so a live capture is strongly recommended. The capture process follows the same general mechanics used in all bounty quests:
Approach and tackle: When you find Warren, sprint toward him and use the tackle action (Cross on PlayStation, A on Xbox) when the prompt appears. Warren will attempt to flee, so chase him and tackle him again if he escapes.
Punch to subdue: After tackling Warren, punch him with basic attacks. Avoid using heavy weapon combos or skills, as dealing too much damage will kill him and halve your reward. Punch him until the Tie Up prompt appears on screen.
Restrain: When the Tie Up prompt appears, immediately use it to bind Warren. This completes the capture.
A Note with a Suspicious Symbol may drop during the capture, similar to other bounty targets. This item appears to be connected to a broader storyline involving the bounty system.
Transporting Warren
With Warren tied up, summon your horse. Walk up to the horse and use the load prompt to place Warren onto the saddle. On PlayStation, press L1 and then Cross near the horse; on Xbox, press LB and then A. Once loaded, mount up and ride north toward the City of Hernand.
Fast travel is disabled while carrying a bounty target, so you must ride manually from the Deepwoods all the way back to Hernand. Since Pororin is one of the most distant bounty locations from the city, this ride takes longer than most other bounties. Plan your route and watch out for hostile encounters along the road.
Turning in the Bounty
Deliver Warren to the Guard Station near the western edge of the City of Hernand. The bounty icon on your minimap will guide you to the correct location. Interact with the guard to hand over Warren and collect your reward.

Silver payout is halved if Warren is killed instead of captured alive. Contribution EXP is awarded regardless of whether the target is delivered alive or dead. With 25 Silver for a live capture, Warren offers the highest Silver payout of any House Celeste bounty, making him the most profitable single bounty target in the Hernand region.
Completing bounties earns Hernand Contribution, which unlocks items at the Contribution Shop, including gear, dyes, and other useful items.

Tips and Strategy
Complete The Unreachable Village first. This is the single most important step. Without it, you cannot safely enter Pororin and Warren will not spawn.
Warren is the highest-paying bounty in Hernand at 25 Silver alive. Prioritize this quest once you have unlocked access to the Deepwoods.
If Warren does not appear at his marked location, rest at a bonfire to advance in-game time, then return. You can also try fast traveling away and coming back to force the area to reload.
Use only basic punches when subduing Warren. Heavy attacks and weapon skills risk killing him, which cuts your Silver payout in half.
Remember that fast travel is disabled while carrying a bounty target. The ride from Pororin back to Hernand is one of the longest bounty transport routes in the game, so clear the path of threats before loading Warren onto your horse.
Consider completing easier bounties such as Jeffrey or Billy first to practice the tackle, punch, and tie-up mechanics before attempting the Warren bounty.
Keep Warren's bounty poster tracked in your journal so the quest marker stays visible on the world map. The shield icon at his location confirms the bounty is active.
