Walkthrough and guide for Time to Face Justice, the 103rd and final main quest of Chapter 7 in Crimson Desert. Played as Oongka, this quest features tracking Ludvig through the wilderness and a boss fight against One-Armed Ludvig.
The final quest of Chapter 7: Homecoming. Though Ludvig is cornered, he will not go quietly. Played entirely as Oongka, this quest involves tracking Ludvig through the wilderness using Oongka's unique abilities, then facing him in a boss fight. After the battle, Oongka returns to Pailune to pay respects at Jian's grave, closing the chapter.
Travel to the quest marker on a field with a broken tree trunk. A man stands at this location. Speak with him to gather information about Ludvig's movements.
Unlike Kliff, Oongka does not have access to a lantern. Instead, hold L1 + R1 (PlayStation) or LB + RB (Xbox) to reveal a glowing yellow trail on the ground that leads to Ludvig's location. Follow the trail (or navigate directly to the endpoint on the map) to reach a small enclosure.
At the enclosure, hold L1/LB and inspect the blood on the ground using Square (PlayStation) or X (Xbox). This triggers a cutscene and initiates the boss fight.
Boss Fight: One-Armed Ludvig
Ludvig has lost an arm since your last encounter, but he is still dangerous. He fights with lightning-based attacks and a single health bar.
Parry Ludvig's strikes with L1/LB, then follow up with light attack combos using R1/RB.
His lightning attacks have the same lingering hitboxes as the earlier fight, but his reduced mobility (from the missing arm) means he is less aggressive overall.
When he charges a large lightning attack, dodge sideways rather than backward.
Keep healing between exchanges. Stock 100 or more Grilled Meat before this fight.
After defeating Ludvig, travel to the Pailune graveyard. Approach your allies gathered at Jian's grave. A cutscene plays in which Oongka pays respects and the group reflects on everything that has happened. This scene closes Chapter 7.
Before completing this quest, remove any valuable weapons or armor you gave to Oongka that you want to keep. After this quest, Oongka becomes unavailable as a playable character, and any items equipped on him will be inaccessible until later in the story. Return his starting axe and unequip everything else.
Tips
One-Armed Ludvig is easier than the Phase 1 / Phase 2 Ludvig fight in Lonely Jackals. If you survived that encounter, this one should be manageable.
Dual-wielding swords with Oongka makes this fight significantly faster than using the default axe. The speed difference is dramatic.
