Overview
The Pond is a Greymane Camp expansion feature in Crimson Desert added in Patch 1.08.00 on May 21, 2026. The pond is a dedicated camp structure that opens up additional fishing and decorative options at the home base.
Construction
The Pond is built as part of the camp expansion progression. It sits alongside the storage chests, kitchen, alchemy lab, kuku coop, and other camp facilities that grow with Kliff and the Greymanes as the home base develops from a modest shelter into a thriving settlement. Pond construction follows the standard camp-expansion flow: the player accepts the construction quest line, gathers the required resources, and assigns Dispatch Missions comrades to deliver building materials.
Uses
The pond functions as a home fishing spot. Players can fish from the pond at camp without traveling to one of the open-world fishing locations on the Pywel map. The pond also serves as a decorative feature for camp customization and works with the chair placement and home layout improvements that have been iterated on since Patch 1.04.00.
Patch Context
Patch 1.08.00 also added the Baby Wyvern pet, musket and shotgun access for Kliff, a tool slot equipment category, 20 additional small-animal pet species, and refinement and fishing improvements. The pond is one of several camp-side additions in the patch.
