Kuku Breeze-Step Boots

Overview

The Kuku Breeze-Step Boots are Epic footwear in Crimson Desert that dramatically enhance Kliff's double jump, nearly tripling the height he can reach. They are crafted at the Kilnden Workshop using an Enhanced Kuku Pot and the Effigy of Faith from the Sanctum of Faith. The boots create gravity-defying platforms beneath the wearer's feet, allowing leaps to seemingly impossible heights.

How to Obtain

Step 1: Restore the Sanctum of Oblation

Complete the Sanctum of Oblation. This rewards the Kuku Breeze-Step Boots blueprint at Grimnir's Kuku Shop.

Step 2: Obtain the Effigy of Faith

Solve the dial puzzle at the Sanctum of Faith to obtain the Core of Faith. This involves rotating the dial 360 degrees using the Sword Glint ability, timing the light to hit crystals and pausing on gaps (similar to Morse code). See the Sanctum Secret Puzzles guide for detailed instructions.

Step 3: Gather Crafting Materials

You need electrical components from the giant robotic enemies (Medium Combat Mechatanks) in Delesyia. Three components are required. You also need an Enhanced Kuku Pot as an intermediate crafting material.

Step 4: Craft at Kilnden Workshop

Craft the Enhanced Kuku Pot first, then use it along with the Core of Faith and electrical components to produce the Kuku Breeze-Step Boots.

Enhanced Double Jump

When equipped, the Kuku Breeze-Step Boots transform the standard double jump into a much more powerful leap. The enhanced jump reaches nearly three times the normal double jump height, opening up previously inaccessible areas and making vertical exploration significantly easier.

The boots have 5 charges that are consumed one at a time with each enhanced jump. Each charge recharges individually on a 10-second cooldown. The enhanced jump consumes slightly more spirit than a normal double jump, but the trade-off is well worth the massive height increase.

Effect

According to the Rage Gaming / Hollow crafting guide, the Kuku Breeze-Step Boots push the standard double jump far higher than normal. The lifted ceiling on vertical movement opens up new traversal options across the open world, letting Kliff reach rooftops, cliff ledges, and hidden shrines that are otherwise out of range. The guide author calls them his favorite boots in the game, noting that they meaningfully change how exploration and combat positioning feel once equipped.

Because the enhanced leap runs on a charge system rather than a cooldown lockout, players can chain several boosted jumps back-to-back when crossing large gaps, then wait a short time for the charges to refill before attempting the next big climb.

The Kuku Breeze-Step Boots blueprint is awarded for clearing the Sanctum of Oblation in eastern Delesyia. On the world map the sanctum sits just east of the Delesyia region label. Players need to cleanse and repower the sanctum the standard way, after which the boot blueprint unlocks at Grimnir's Kuku Shop.

Once the blueprint is unlocked, the boots are assembled at the Kilnden Workshop from the following ingredients:

This pulls the boots together from three distinct regions of Delesyia, so plan a route that hits the abyss pocket for the cell, sweeps a Mani patrol for components, and finishes at the Sanctum of Faith for the Core of Faith before returning to Grimnir.

Tips

• The 5-charge system means you can chain multiple enhanced jumps in quick succession for extreme vertical traversal.

• Manage your charges during exploration; avoid wasting them on short jumps where a normal double jump would suffice.

• The recharge rate of 10 seconds per charge means all 5 charges refill in under a minute.

• Combine with other movement abilities for reaching the most hidden areas in the game world.
