Frozen is the ice status effect in Crimson Desert. On enemies, Frozen slows them and sets up heavy-damage follow-up combos. On the player, cold environments and ice attacks drain Stamina faster and can fill an Ice Buildup gauge that further penalizes stamina regeneration.

How it is Applied
Frost Mantle is the unlockable ice skill; it forms a defensive barrier that can freeze attackers.
The Imbue Element ice skill adds ice damage to basic attacks.
Frost-tipped arrows and ice-aligned weapons apply Frozen on hit.
Cold environments such as Pailune snowfields and certain boss arenas passively fill an Ice Buildup gauge on the player.
Environmental Effects on the Player
Stamina is consumed faster in freezing environments.
Stamina regeneration slows while the Ice Buildup gauge is filling.
Reaching Ice Resistance Lv. 5 keeps the freezing gauge green and removes the stamina drain penalty in cold areas.
Cure / Prevention
Dodging helps shake off the freezing animation faster.
Ice-resistant cloaks (for example, the Hernandian Noble's Cloak granting Ice Resistance Lv. 3) reduce freezing effects.
Warming foods such as Beer, Honey Tea, and Modest Clear Soup grant temporary Ice Resistance.
Frostward Abyss Gear adds passive ice resistance at the cost of a socket.
